after information about a flashlight made by Winchester arms during 2nd world war it is plated with pure gold? cant find any info on it it was given to my grandmother by an american sailor during the war they were made out of BRASS for the NAVY ,because of the rust problem with steel, it was a war ,gold costs money ,??????????

What are the flashlight tours at the Winchester Mystery House like? If you have never seen the Winchester Mystery house and you're more interested in the history and architecture of the house then I would say go on the regular tour given on a normal basis.
The flashlights tours are more so a novelty tour since all they do is lead you around and it's nothing but pitch black and lots of teenagers screaming. I guess they assume that since the WMH is presumably "haunted" by the spirits killed by the Winchester rifle that it adds an element of fear touring the mansion in the dark. Basically cheap thrills/scares.

In Italy, Denmark, Holland, So. Africa, France, Spain, Argentina, you can own 5 guns. Which would YOU pick? I would need: a) One rifle for hunting deer (something with a scope between .22-250 to .243, either a bolt action, or a Browning Lever Action) I have a BLR in .22-250. Maybe after I have my surgery, I can use my Father's Sears 53 (Winchester Model 70) in .243. b) One shotgun to hunt rabbit with (preferably 20 guage) I have a 20 gauge double barrel Fox BSE and a Sears (Actually High Standard) 20 gauge Pump Action. If I chose the Double Barrel I could take it to Europe. c) One .25 auto to pass a stop and frisk. I have a Browning. d) A larger pistol/revolver for under my pillow, so I can have a flashlight in the other hand. I am leaning towards the Soviet 9 x 18 mm Makarov I own because the thing has never jammed the entire time I have owned it.Only problem is getting ammo. Can't decide between Walther PP in .32, or Smith & Wesson .38 or Spanish Super Star Model B in .38 Super. e) Either a .22 pistol (Colt Woodsman) or a revolver (Ruger Bearcat, 17 ounces) or perhaps a rifle (Ruger 10/22 or Marlin 39A) for plinking at tin cans. What is the best way to set up a Winchester 1300 shotgun with a laser/ flashlight combo? I would like to be able to switch these on & off by the trigger guard area. I have read about the picatinny rails and am unsure what these are about. One solution

how much would a CA stag arms .223 ar-15 be worth with so much extras or just the rifle alone? look at deatil:? this ar-15 is only a couple months old and less than a thousand rounds have been fired outta it. it would come with a green tactical laser, a very nice flashlight, a quad rail system with a forward pistol grip, a custom smooth rubber pistol grip, an a2 carry handle, a flip up sight as well, a nice bipod, a 2nd gen bullet button system allowing it to be normal mag release capable,black hawk tactical strap, four 10/30 mags, two mag pouch black, 150 .223 rounds, and a nice winchester tactical case. has been kept clean and maintained since purchased. remember its cali legal if interested message me, but how much should all this be worth? need some serious dough please give me your opinion... brand new in the box about 900 dollars...

Hows this for an anti-intruder technique? my house has almost been broken into before (the guy unsuccesfully came in, he got busted by the cops at the last second, lol) and the people who did it were armed with .45ACP pistols. this happened around 7 years ago. now that im 16, i want to learn how to defend myself against intruders. so ive fired several types of weapons (H&K MP5K PDW in fully automatic, Winchester Model 1894 lever action 30-30 rifle, XD Tactical .40S&W pistol, etc.) and im a pretty good shot with most of them. the only exception is the pistol, my stance and everything is all screwed up. say i had my Winchester '94 in my dark, somewhat spacious living room and i suspect there is an intruder. what i thought of doing was getting a flashlight, turn it on, and toss it lightly across the room. that way the intruder will instinctively fire at the source of the light, and then i can look for the muzzle flash and aim in their general direction and fire. how does that sound? btw im not a COD fanatic or whatever because ive said i fired the MP5. i went to vegas and they have full automatic weapons for rent. haha i know it sounds stupid. i was kinda joking actually I've fired guns for quite a while now. 5-6 years, something like that. Way to show your ignorance on the internet Btw I got the idea from one of my questions about tactical flashlights/laser pointers for my pistol and one of te answers said it attracts unneccesary attention or something. and they would fire at it. Lol

Big Problem...? So about two weeks ago. I got this idea that because next year all my friends are going to high school, i should have a very special birthday party. i remembered about 1 year ago that i had gone to this really scary haunted house called the winchester mystery house. so i looked and they were having a flashlight tour on the 27th. I wanted to invite 10 people including my family so we looked at the times, they only offered 10 tickets at the same time at three times, 8:45, 9:11, and 11:00. 8:45 is too early and 11:00 is too late so i chose 9:11 the only time that would work. so, i invited 6 people including a new girl that is in our class. we had just become friends... ill call her: N and i was really excited. 2 people had said that they could come, one of them N. just last night though, i got a call from her parents saying that the joke was not funny. they said that their friend died on 9/11. now she's not coming. i never played a joke though? now im sad. i dont want to talk to her now.. also it was going to be a sleepover but the next day at 8:00 we have a SSAT class so i can't have a sleepover. now still only one person has said that they can come and we can't sell the tickets and they were kind of expensive and its all turning into a big mess. this totally blows! i would feel really bad though if it was only her parents who didn't want her to go and i ignored her. i thought that our friendship was going really well. we're even in a group project together at school. i just think that it will be really awkward for me to talk to her. UGGGGHHHH... hey um.... ok so that's a bummer should i still come?
don't worry about N, you didn't even know that their friend died on that day or watver. You should be pissed off for them thinking that you did that as a joke towards them. Like why would they think that someone they hardly know and is inviting them to her birthday party is going to play a prank on them. SEESH! ok jus try to ignore it and just be friendly towards N.

What accessories can fit onto my Mossberg Maverick 88? I just got this gun yesterday for my 18th birthday in my name and everything and I love it already. I'm going to be using it for Home Protection and some Shooting at the Range. I got the Gun from Academy and some Winchester 00 Buckshot Unplated 15 pack from Wal-Mart for just $8. I want to put some Accessories on it like a Shell holder but I still want to be able to be able to slide the "Action (I think it's called)" Back. Winchester Mystery House Flashlight Tour, San Jose CA? Does anyone know if the flashlight tour at the Winchester Mystery House is good? I wanted to go to that because it seems like it would be scary, but is it worth the $40? And also is it just people are dressed in costumes and scare you? Thanks I've done it maybe 10 years ago. I don't recall anyone in costumes.
It is kind of cool. The place is dark. You and your group are issued flashlights and basically lead on the standard tour.
