If you have stiches in a tonciletamy and they burst, would they torche them? I guess I'm not quite sure what your question is, but I'll try. A lot of times you don't even get stitched with a tonsillectomy. They usually cauterize the area so it doesn't bleed. If you bled after the surgery, they may put in a stitch or 2.. I can't imagine they'd cauterize (or torch?) them after surgery, that would be painful to you. So I suppose if they "burst" they may just put in a few more stitches..
