How do I uninstall the tail lights on my 1998 Mustang? I just got Euro tail lights for my 1998 V6 Mustang. I need to know how to uninstall the stock lights and install the new lights. I don't want any rude comments about putting aftermarket lights on a mustang. I like them. Pull out the trunk liner, then you'll see the metal of the car. There will be the bolts that hold on the taillights. Just unscrew the bolts and the lights will pull right off. Then just put the new lights on and reattach the bolts, etc. It's not hard, but if you don't know what you're doing then just go have it done. It's not expensive

Normally most cars have 2 fuse panels, one interior and one exterior, depending upon the make and model is where they are located. You possibly have opened a fuse.. Your owners manual should give you the locations, if you don't have one surf around on line and you should be able to find it.

Why do my tail lights and dashboard lights only go on when I brake? I have an Acura Integra and I recently replaced one of the burned out tail lights. Then all of a sudden the interior dashboard lights, lighting on my shifter and brake lights do not light up unless I brake. Explanations anyone? I want to assume I should check for loose wires in the back where I changed my tail light. You either installed a wrong bulb or you put the bulb in backwards. Yes it possible to reverse the bulb.

What can be wrong with the tail lights to a 1990 Plymouth Gradn Voyager? The tail lights in my 1990 Plymouth Grand Voyager won't light up when lights are on. The brake lights and turn signals/hazards work however. I've already replaced the light bulbs but they still own't work. Someone told us it could be wiring, any ideas? The bulbs were replaced and the fuses were checked by doing a swap-out. Still no tail lights, yet still have brake lights and turn signals. Only fuse check that wasn't done was with a voltimeter. It was suggested to test the wiring. Any other suggestions? replace or adjust the brake light switch up by the brake pedal. all that switch does is light up the brake lights. you might want to check the fuses too.

How much would it cost to replace the tail lights on a 2002 bmw 525i? I am planning on buying the BMW for $6900, but the tail lights are broken. Is that a good price? It has 160,000 mileage. Where can I find tail lights that look purple like on the older cars? My bf has a 1986 Chevy Capice Classic. He is wanting to get new tail lights that look purple. We bought a blue light cover (figured blue and red make purple) but it didnt work. If anyone knows what the older model cars' purple tail lights look like please let me know how we can get the same effect with his car. it is done with a blue glass dot installed in the red lens..

Why do the police touch your tail lights when they approach a car? Why do the police touch your tail lights when they approach a vehicle they have stopped for a moving violation? EVERY time i have been stopped (very minor stuff, speeding, no turn signal, ect..) they touch my tail lights and it looks like they try an open my trunk lid. The trunk thing makes sense, they are checking to see if its unlocked an if someone is going to jump out and possibly attack the officer or something to that extent. But why do the police touch your tail lights? 10 points for the correct answer. It's actually your trunk, this is A) leave their fingerprint just in case something happens and they need to see for certain if it was that car B) to make sure the trunk is secure and someone is not going to pop out and attack them.
