will my streamlight flashlight work on stoplights? i have seen emergency cars make traffic lights turn green almost immediately by using a strobe light in ront of their car. will my streamlight flashlight with strobe work to make lights change? thats against the law and dangerous.

Anyone know how to changea battery on a streamlight survivor flashlight div. 2, with the O ring bracket? I have already ordered the battery and removed the pins but am a having issues with the bottom bracket/O ring brakcet. It looks like flushed hexagonal screws are in place. I am wondering if you know of any ways to overcome this or am I just not buying the right battery per manual. the battery I ordered is for the correct model. Division II with O ring, but the battery looks different than the original. The site listed below is the official Streamlight site. Handy and quality flashlights? I am looking a handy flashlight that is powerful and good quality within 30 dollars or less. One of my options is the Streamlight MicroStream (good size and price; not sure how bright it is) Do you know any other good ones at affordable price? I do security on the night shift. Which is better a surefire or a streamlight flashlight? They're both very highly-rated and similar in workmanship. It's a close race.
All things considered, the Streamlight is somewhat less expensive and is, thereby, a little better value for the money. You'd probably do well to handle them both and then just pick a fave, unless you'll be grabbing one from Amazon, that is.

best tactical flashlight (streamlight?)? I just purchases a blackhawk! cqc shoulder rig with a spare mag carrier and a a flash light carrier. The flashlight carrier is suppose to fit compact streamlight flash light and the Streamlight Scorpion LED Tactical Light is pretty cool for only $50. like I'd prefer to see a higher lumens (120) because I know the sog strobe is about 210 but I like how it lasts 3 hours on a pair of batteries. I will NEVER buy another Fenix flashlight again, not b/c of the lumens (they're great, very bright flashlight), but b/c the flashlight isn't build strong enough. I use a flashlight everyday (Journeyman Electrician), and the Fenix just isn't built for heavy trade or military use. Also, the red filter is cheap - plastic housing and lens break too easy.
Most of us have switched to Surefire. Some have Pelican but still have problems.

There are actually two versions of the Stinger and Polystinger. The original versions use bulbs, and the newer versions use LEDs. There are four variations: Stinger LED, Stinger DS LED, PolyStinger LED, Polystinger DS LED. The DS stands for Dual-Switch. This means that there is both a switch on top of the flashlight and on the tail cap. The Stinger LED and PolyStinger LED just have a switch on the top of the light, not one of the tail cap. All of the Stinger series lights, whether they are LED or bulbs, use the same charger holders and cords, so you can reuse them between lights. These Stinger lights also use the same rechargeable battery stick. As far as the technical difference, here's some more detail:
