I am an American woman artist.... I want to paint a self portrait with dots of color across my forehead....? from what I understand.... this is a symbol of purity in marriage.... am I correct? I do not mean simply the red dot - the "eye of mind and of married status" I mean several dots that extend over the eyebrows.... does this express "purity" in the Hindu tradition? i want to be sure before I add it to my work as symbolism of a woman's "gift" and eternal love for her husband....

I did something extremely stupid. I self tattooed my toe w/ 4 dots, now it is tender and swolen. Help!!? I dont want to go to doctor unless symptoms is effecting me. first of all fuck you both like i said i was stupid i made it clear in the question. It will be tender and swollen, especially if it gets infected. Rub alcohol over it and put some neosporin.

How can I keep self tanning lotion from leaving little dots all over me?? I think it gets stuck in my pores or something because the "tan" looks good at a distance, but up close I have millions of little bitty brown dots, which looks AWFUL! How can I prevent the lotion from getting into my pores? Exfoliate before applying -- that might help with application...

The start of my penis and all over the scrotum have tiny yellow dots? There is yellow dot at the base of every heir there is, i am still a virgin age 15. THe part closer to the scrotum has little dots with no heir at the end of it, i am very self concise about these and want to know how i can get rid of them Probably something with hair follicles and sweat. Just wash twice per day and put some jock itch powder down there. See if that helps the problem.

will self tanner help make the dots on my legs less noticable? ive gotten all these little dark dots on my legs because of shaving. i heard that getting a tan would make them alot less noticable. but i dont want to tan in the sun or in a bed, would it do the same thing if i used self tanner? i dont want to waste my money and watch it not work.. HELP PLEASE I have the same problem. My legs were really white and you could see all the pores on my legs and it looked like my legs were hairy. I tried self tanner and if you're pale or light skinned, it's not the smartest thing because you'll turn orange. My best advice is to lay out in the sun with some sunscreen. My legs darkened within a couple weeks and look a lot better than they did. It's worth the heat!!

What would cause little red dots to appear on my skin? they aren't everywhere its just in between my elbow and shoulder the dots are like the size of a ball point pen or specs, they aren't lumps or anything, then don't affect me in anyway they are just there. i don't spends hours every day outside... if that answers anything... p.s. if your going to be an ass and write something stupid i got suggestion first... get a glass, go to your frig and get your self a big cup of shut the hell up

How can i get rid of these red little dots i get on my legs after i shave? Whenever i shave i get red little dots might be pores but yeah i get them all over my legs. My doctor told me to use lotion and it will get rid by it's self. I've done this for years and i really don't know what to do anymore to get rid it... Its probably razor burn. Try switching your shaving cream to a sensitve type. Also, be careful of what razor you use. If you use a cheap razor, you may be getting an allergic reaction. I have the same problem, I started to use Schick Quatro for women and my legs are nice and smooth, minus the red bumps. Always use lotion after too.

I just burnt my self (by accident) on the metal part of a pan, and tiny red dots have emerged near the burn? is this ok ? the burn was about an hour ago, i but it under some cold water but thats about it mix baking soda and cold water into a paste.. spread it on the burn and the pain will go away! trust me! this works! :)

Can I use grayscale in self-publishing services, or does it cost extra? Self-publishing and book-printing services such as Lulu have two color options: Black/white and color. Color is often a lot more expensive. So does grayscale usually fall under black and white, since it just uses black ink, or do I have to use black and white dots/pixels to create varying shades of gray? If you goal is to include black and white images, you will get better quality by using the color option. Both paper quality and printing process used for their B&W books will not produce the same quality image you'll get with the color option.
Unfortunately lulu does not have an option to just include a few pages of image quality pages into an otherwise print quality book. You need to choose one or the other. Thumb through some paperback fiction print books. Find one where they did not insert a new page for the author photo and you will have some idea as to what quality images will be in such books.
