The Ruger SR9 is Ruger's newest handgun. I purchased one back in December and loved it. A lot slimmer than the P89, their first polymer frame, just a fun handgun to shoot. The only problem came up for me after I got it back from the recall and its new trigger wasn't me. I am not too big of a fan of the new trigger they put on. Other than that I only paid 400 bucks for mine and now the price is about 440 by me. Right now the only caliber it comes in is 9mm but the P-Series comes in .40 and .45acp. They are about the same price give or take a bit.

I found them at lots of sites, the 678 is the barrel length not the model of the gun so sometimes you have to read to see what the barrel size is.
Are there laser grips for the P345 Ruger? I have a Ruger P345 and I would like to purchase a set of laser grips for the gun, but am unable to locate the grips for my model. They make all sorts of laser grips for all types of Ruger handguns, but not this one apparently. Is this gun compatible with some other model of Ruger handgun? I believe there are laser sights but I want the grips.

Your P345 is a polymer frame pistol. It does not have separate grip panels that can be removed.
Therefor, no aftermarket grips are available. SO I think you will have a problem finding it. I own a P345 and love it, btw.
an alternative might be Laselyte's rear sight laser. I know they make them for the Ruger sr9.. if they mount the same sight as the P345 it should fit right in. http://www.laserlyte.com/New_Products/index.html
Otherwise, I believe you are stuck with rail mounts.

Check out www.midwayusa.com. They have several sights to choose from, but the set I want for my P89DC is LPA sights SPR Sight Set in three dot configuration. These are low profile, fully adjustable, and are supposed to be perfect for anything from Conceal and Carry to Competition Target shooting. And at $68 they're pretty reasonably priced too in my estimation.

Can a CA residents active duty purchase a ruger lcp380 if is stationed in another state an take to CA ? i am a california resident, active duty and stationed in another state. Can i purchase a Handgun Ruger LCP 380 and if i go back to california can i import it to california ? Also what about a High capacity Handgun?
Since you are Active Duty, you fall between the so called loopholes. Most states allow military personnel to be residents of another state while residing in their state temporarily.
I found if i bought a weapon as a military person, it was better to have the gun shipped from one gun dealer to another as this is the current law.
If you buy the gun, being military you can legally transport it but make sure it is registered where you bought it at.
Undecided between different Ruger Mark III handguns, any advice? I am going to buy a gun for plinking and target practice, it will not be used for self defense at all, so what I am looking for is accuracy and reliability. I really like the interchangable front sight pipes on the Hunter model and the fact it's 4 oz. lighter than the GC is a plus too.
It all depends on what is more comfortable in YOUR hand though. Some people think a longer barreled heavier gun balances better, some like a full shrouded barrel for more weight in front of the grip, it's personal preference and what feels and balances best for you.

Ruger Redhawk review One of the best big bore handguns on the market. Ruger built this handgun to withstand the most powerful offerings of this cartridge for hunters and reloaders. The revolver has a heavy double action pull that could use a little but of fine tuning, but the single action trigger is both light and crisp and one of the best triggers I ve shot with. This gun would make an excellent gun for hunting deer, hog, and possibly elk (yes it has been used for this purpose with success). This gun would also make a great bush gun or an Alaskan wilderness gun (in a short barrel) for bear protection. I have put over 500 rounds through this gun and it looks as good as the day I bought it over 3 years ago. For around 500 used and 700 new this gun is one of the best heavy calibers on the market and I would not hesitate to spend the money on a new or used model.
