Petrol Ford Fusion what does "EAC" or "ERC fail" mean with reduced engine power & warning light on dash? My petrol 2003 Ford Fusion has had the same problem 3 times.The engine power drops drastically & "EAC fail" or "ERC fail" flashes on the dash.I can crawl in 1st gear & at idle the engine revs cyclically. I turn the engine off & hey presto it's fine again! Despite a new O2 sensor befiore this,I have a permanent warning light on the dash. The engine seems to run rough & I think there's less power on hills.or with a load.Any ideas?? Thanks

Tiscali phone line or Belkin router faulty, adsl light flashing on router? Before I try and ring Tiscali for the 100th time I wondered if anyone can advise whether it could be a faulty router instead of a line fault. The adsl started flashing 5 days ago and I could not get on the Internet, numerous phone calls to Tiscali and one of them admitted there was a fault but when I phoned back the day after they had no record of that call ? Anyway the green light came back on 2 days ago, I had to reset my whole network but hey presto back on the internet, used it all day yesterday then around 6pm just disconnected and tried re setting the router and green flashing light again no matter how many times I reset, this morning I tried and on the 6th attempt I am connected again. Could this be a faulty router just picking up the connection now & again or is it a line fault and the quieter times of day it will connect to the exchange ? Many thanks in advance I use a bekin wireless G router Normally the green light indicates a good connection it flashes when data is transferred.
A red flashing light indicates a problem.
The tiscali broadband line will be using your BT connection.
I had a problem with mine after I decorated the wall where the BT box is when I looked in the phone book with the intention of phoning BT I found a page called Fault repair (page 7 in my book) there was a suggestion to test the main socket where the line enters the house, if you take the cover off there’s a test socket to plug into this solved my problem

PS3: reoccuring yellow light of death, reflowing process becoming redundant :(? okay this may be hard to believe but i just recieved my 7th YLOD -_- My first 40gb launch model recieved the ylod a couple of years back and upon contacting sony they sent me out a refurbished model of the same 40gb range free of charge, i thought heck that was nice of em :D But...then after around 8 months with my new refurbished model it recieved the ylod during a deep game of Little Big Planet. I contacted sony and this time i would have to pay £144 to replace my ps3. So i found a video on youtube on how to fix the ylod by myself (i am sure some of you are familiar with the process) which simly involves striping the ps3 down to the motherboard, removing thermal compound, reheating the motherboard with a heatgun, reapplying thermal compound then reassemble and presto its fixed :D I have done this process six times now, the first time the ps3 lasted around 6 months, second it lasted 3 and now its gotten to the point were it only lasts 2 weeks after reflowing it. So my question is there something else i should be doing? My ps3 sits on a stool with quite good ventialtion (the fan at the back is pointing out into the middle of my room.) I give the playstation around 3 hours cooling down time between 2-4 hours playing time. Maybe it could be the thermal compound i am applying? I use artic silver 5 :) Heck any help at all such as other repairing methods or suggestions would be very much welcome, or is my ps3 basically going to fail entirely soon? :P Thanks for any help guys :) Reflow is only a temporary fix mate. How to repair a presto heatdish parabolic heater plus footlight? This thing was working good but was left on for 48 hours straight and woke up to it not heating anymore but the light works and the buzzer noise does not work either. Does this sound like something that you have experiened,then I hope you can set me in the correct direction Thanks this might get you headed in the right direction

During a power cut i managed to squeeze 72 glow worms into a neon strip light. Hey presto, instant lighting.? Has anybody else had any ingenious ideas that have bore fruit? I breed gerbils to run my PC!
I hooked their wheels up to a generator via simple dynamo's.And give them cheap speed. It is more expensive than standard electricity but my python eats the spent gerbils so there is no waste.
They do need replacing every three days

PSP GREEN LIGHT, NO RECOVERY MODE? Your Question PSP GREEN LIGHT, NO RECOVERY MODE? Haven’t been into the PSP Homebrew scene for about 2 years so decided the other day to update to the latest custom firmware. Did this fine. Then saw all this stuff about Pandora batteries and thought I’d make one (soft mod). I did this without realising that it makes the battery unusable (sort of). So I bricked the PSP. Luckily the battery HAD been converted to service mode so I simply made a Magic Memory Stick, put it in and Hey Presto I could enter ‘Recovery Mode’. Basically I’ve bricked it again after trying to re-install the custom firmware. I changed the battery to service mode again, took it out, when I put it back in the PSP just has a solid green light (as soon as you put the battery in). It wont go into service mode and the magic memory stick isn’t working this time. What a fool I am. If I but a Pandora Battery and another MMS, will this fix it? I just don’t understand as I DO have a Pandora battery (the one I made) and MMS but that isn’t working? how to wire a outdoor light fitting? hi everyone i had a council looking sensor light fitting in my garden, and today thought i would change it to a pir light fitting with only blue brown and earth connections. When disconnecting the old one it had 4 wires coming from it the earth was not connected in the old one but the blue was connected to neutral, the brown was connected to live and then there was a yellow wire connected to a connection called LS. I connected the new light fitting using blue to neutral,yellowy/green to earth and brown to live and didnt know where to put the yellow one and there wasnt a LS on my new fitting so i covered with black tape and turned on the electric supply and hey presto NOTHING, can someone tell me where ive gone wrong and where to connect this strange yellow wire to im in bexhill on sea east sussex, the 4 wires are coming out out of the house and are connected to a swich inside the house, the 4 wires are blue brown greeny/yellow and this yellow one which was connected to LS on my old light fitting and my new one has a white plastic sort of junctiony box thing which the wires blue is already attached to neutral greeny/yellow is attached ti earth and brown is attached to live and have kept the yellow one taped but not connected and light does not work but im not in america im in england do i just put the yellow wire in with the red wire can someone tell me? Obviously, you are not in North America, nor any of the South American countries I've worked in. Your color coding sounds like the older Australian codes, but before I assume that, it would just be easier if you told everyone where you are.

Anyone constantly find yourself with a newborn kitten and nowhere to buy kitten formula at 4 am? I pulled this recipe off of the internet a long time ago. I hadn't tried it because I shoved the print out in a drawer and forgot about it. I pulled it out of the drawer a month ago after I was in fact in need of formula at midnight after I discovered that the KMR can was empty! I wound up raising a kitten on this after I started her on this recipe because she refused to eat KMR or anything ELSE after giving her this supplement. I ran it by my own vet, and she approved. Of course, I would naturally assume that before you give it to any of your own, you would run it by your vet as well. All of the ingredients should be available at your local food store. It's great to have in a pinch. I just thought I'd pass it along for all of you out there active in rescue work so that you'll have an alternative "just in case." I know from personal experience the frustration of having a screaming newborn kitten who's starving, being caught off guard, and having no formula in the house to fill up that lil belly. When you get a chance, give it a try. It digests REALLY well and it has really good texture. You just spoon out a lil bit and pop it in the microwave for about 15 seconds and presto..dinner is served! INGREDIENTS: 1 lg. can evaporated milk (not Milnot) 2 tbsp. plain yogurt (not diet) 2 tbsp. mayonnaise (real) 1 tbs. Karo Syrup (light) 1 pkg. Knox gelatin 1 egg yolk (beaten) 1 cup of liquid unflavored Pedialyte INSTRUCTIONS: Mix milk, yogurt, mayonnaise and syrup together well. Bring 1 cup water to boil and mix in Knox gelatin; set aside. Mix egg yolk with small amount of milk mixture and beat well. Add gelatin and water to milk mixture and beat well. Add in egg yolk mixture and beat well. Pour into a freezer safe bowl or similar type of bowl with a cover and set in refrigerator. We usually use Ice Cube Trays for our glop pudding. Pudding will last for two weeks covered in refrigerator. Always warm pudding to room temperature (milk form) before feeding. It is very rich in calcium, this pudding can be used as a supplement for kittens, sick cats and show cats to put on weight. Several Veterinarians have approved this recipe as being balanced and nutritious. Thanks for the info. presto skillet 06852? Isn't the light suppose to be on all the time. I just bought one the other day. The light went off after 15 minutes. Is it defective or is it design to do that? Read the manual...the light goes off when it reaches the correct temp then will come on every time the pan heats up.

my fluorescent light on my Rio 120 won't turn on in the morning with my timer.? I've had it working for about 10 months and laterly it just don't wanna turn on . If i twist it it works . Then when i try to test it by flicking the light switch manually it doesn't work even though it was in the same place which i twisted to seconds earlier. It trys to on its own cos i can see the edges glowing orange , then i give it a little twist and hay presto it works. I wanna get it sorted cos i know irregular lighting stresses fish , and my tank is hucky doree at the minute , trust summit like this to happen arhghghghghgh!!!. Fully remove the globe (with power off) and check the contacts at the end of the globe AND inside where the globe sits - Many problems are caused by salt build up or water problems at the contacts - Most can be cleaned , but some will require a new fitting or globe
