Why is this flashlight not as powerful as I thought? With out having them "in hand" to compare I can only suggest that the way the lights were tested and rated by the different companies is the variable. Point of focus is also another variable some concentrate the point of focus farther than others giving a different visual perception even though more or less power is thrown out there. One interesting little light are those key chain leds they are so bright at the light you can't shine it in your own eyes but try a light up anything beyond 5 feet and its worthless.

How do you know if a new flashlight bulb is compatible? I want to buy a new bulb for my pelican m6 flashlight. I preferably want 500 lumens or more but the standard replacement bulb just doesn't offer that power. It takes 2 lithium batteries. So when shopping how do I know which bulbs will work and fit? Anyone else have problems with Pelican 7060 flashlight? When I first got my Pelican 7060 LED flashlight it would not charge. I contacted customer service who a factory error set the charging screws in too tight, and to back them out a couple of turns. Did that and it worked. Lately, however, the light just stops working unless you turn the rear cap, but if you turn it too much it goes on by itself. Then one button stopped working altogether. What's up with this flashlight? I've had mine for almost a month, and have no problems. If I had your problems, I'd send it back.
If you found a covered holder that fits it, let me know. The one our local distributor carries isn't big enough.

I need a replacement lamp for my pelican M3 2370 flashlight.? I can seem to find one anywhere! Even the Pelican website doesn't even have it. If anyone can help me out that would be great. which is better LED Lamp or Halogen lamp? my friend said that halogen lamp flashlight is good to use in hiking specially when there is fog compared to LED lamp flashlight. I compared this two by using a Pelican halogen flashlight and a non branded LED lamp flashlight and based on my observation the LED lamp flashlight throws much farther and much brighter. what do you think? I agree with you, LED. Not only do they throw off more/better light, they don't eat batteries as much as halogen.
