FAQ about Omniglow
How well do the Omniglow Lunker Lights work? Do they attract large fish or small fish? Do they work better than bait and a hook? Can you tell me you opinion on this product. (Can you also put which state you live in, the temperature of the water counts) i have no personal experience with these, but bright lights under docks will attract small bait fish, which will in turn attract larger fish. is this a light put underwater, a light attached to a line, or a light mounted above water at night, or a light attached to the side or bottom of a boat? the 3rd will work on coastal docks at night by attracting insects, who will fall into the water and start the above mentioned cycle. the last will work when fishing with bait in freshwater for crappie at night.
where can i find these glow sticks? im looking for these glow sticks called cyalume sticks made by Omniglow they have to be these exate ones from a store in south australia they are used by the Australian defence force and the NSN number is NSN:6260-01-074-4229 and there is a pic here please note i will not buy them online and is you are wondering about what a NSN is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_Stock_Number and a pic can be found here :http://i469.photobucket.com/albums/rr55/silent_sniper99/DSCF1421.jpg a. i have about 3 of these given to me so you can buy them and b. i said i am not buying online I thought these were issued? You might be able to pick them up at places like Aussie Disposals etc, but I am pretty sure they aren't supposed to be for purchase by the public. But they are pretty much just glow sticks.
