Science Question..................? A person lost in the woods at night may signal for help by turning a flashlight on and off according to a code known as Morse code. This is actually a modulated signal. Is it Am or Fm? Explain. Please help. This has screwed up my brain. I really don't get it. FM which is frequency modulation. You'd be altering the frequency of when the light is showing to long and short pulses to send a signal. AM or amplitude modulation might relate to this if you left the light on and varied how bright it was.

Horror movie I can't remember? I never saw the whole thing, just a certain point. These people are in a subway with a group of the homeless. Their by this large fire. I think somebody puts it out. Then a loud tapping (Morse Code) sounds off and all the homeless people get scared and start running. They ask why and one guy tells them it's the police. They run into police on their way out and some guy gets arrested (or already was, I dunno). They visit this guy that's in jail (same guy who told them it was police, I think) and he keeps telling them its the police. Then one of them says, "Last time I checked, police don't use Morse Code." And I think he translated what the code says. The guy explains very little to them, only that it was some sort of demon, or something. They go to the library and there's a book by a guy that was in the same tunnel (which is sealed off, by the way) and got attacked by these human shaped guys that have mole claws and stuff. They get a bunch of flashlights and set out to kill the demon/mole things. And that's all I saw. I'd REALLY like to see the rest of the movie, so please help me! It was on TV a year or 2 ago, so I think it was made in the 90s. And no, it's not the Simpsons. Wtf? Peter, I don't want to see what sounds like a comedy. a movie I saw when I was little? I saw it back when I used to live in Poland, and I remember the exact title in polish but I can't think of a translation. In Polish it was called 'Imperium Słońca" It was about a boy, about 11 i think, he got separated from his parents and went to a weird military camp during war...than after a couple of years his parents found him. One detail I remember is when he was still with his parents, they were staying at some sort of a hotel & he was in bed & saw a ship sending morse code through the window, he picked up a flashlight & started sending signals than a bomb exploded in the building or something like that I saw it when I was around 7...about 7 years ago does anyone know the title? Help remembering book title? I remember reading a youth/teen novel when I was younger, and can't remember the title. If anyone knows of it, or even if you can recall the name of the author or the publisher, that would be great. Here is what I remember: - it's about a boy who moved to a farm, possibly his uncle's? - there was a large black dog that was very frightening to him at first - he made friends with another boy from a nearby farm - they learned morse code and communicated with each other by flashlight at night through their windows - there was a strange eerie sound that came from the river, and folklore had it that the place was haunted - there was a farmhand, possibly with a limp? - the farmhand made the strange noises by playing a violin inside a sewer pipe near the river's edge - the dog turned out to be friendly, and saved the hero-boy from the farmhand in a final confrontation I'm sure other details have been lost in my memory, but hopefully this helps. What is the title of this book? I read a book at some point where it involved these two best friends who lived across the street from each other and they had flashlights in their front windowsills that they used for their own form of morse code to talk from house to house. I think one of them died, but I'm not sure Hmmm....

What will McCain use given the fact that McCain laughs about how he does not know how to us a computer. Book about Blueberries? In the book, this boy and his best friend are picking blueberries for his friend's mother to make a pie or something, but either they eat them all or they spill them or something, because I don't think they really take that many blueberries home with them... And so then they are in the boy's yard and his friend gets stung by a bee and is dying, but the boy thinks it's a prank and goes to get ice cream or a Popsicle or something like that... Also, there is a lot of him remembering his friend, because he died, and he has a flashlight on his windowsill because they used flashlights to talk in Morse code after their can phones got taken away...
