How do you connect a battery to a mini flashlight bulb? I have this mini flashlight that I accidentally opened up and broke. The bulbs are stuck behind the screen so only 3 wires of the 3 bulbs are sticking out. I know how to turn on a light bulb with a battery, but there are no positive and negative terminals to the mini light wires, so how do I connect the bulbs to the battery? if ur bulbs r not LEDs then u need not worry bcos other bulbs dont have a+ve or -ve polarity as per my knowledge, so u can simply connect the battery connectors - 1+ve n other -ve to the bulbs..hope tis hlps

where can I find a mini flashlight with a button you hold to keep it on? I am trying to find a mini flashlight that takes AA or AAA batteries, has a button to turn it on/off, and doesn't flare out at the top. I would prefer it to be sliver, but any color will do. Does anyone know where I can find something like this or similar to this? The Dorcy LED Flashlight gets great reviews. Better than using batteries, it is rechargeable.

Is there any possible way to focus a Mini Maglite 2 Cell flashlight further? I have a Mini Maglite 2 Cell Xenon flashlight and am wondering if I can perhaps focus it further some way. Thanks! it is what it is. buy a bigger lumens light

what store can you get a cheap mini flashlight and a cheap plastic lunch tray? please help try to find a flashlight that is clear Try the dollar stores in your area. Also, Wal-Mart has just about everything you could want. At our Walgreen's stores, they often have odds and ends that are useful and reasonably priced. I've even seen specials such as "Dollar Days" at the Walgreen's stores and CVS pharmacies. There are bins of all kinds of items for a buck apiece.

Do cops really have mini "breathalizers" in their flashlights? I was told this by a friend of mine who recently got into a little trouble for Minor in Consumption and Minor in Possesion (Alchohol, go figure.) Well he told me that the cop discovered the alchohol on his breathe with the mini breath reader he had on his flashlight that beeped or flashed at him, something like that when it picked up the alchohol. Is this true? Yes, it is true. It is called a "Passive Alcohol Sensor" (PAS). It is passive because it does not require any action from the person being tested, you just hold it in their general area.

The AA batteries leaked in my mini maglite flashlight. It's a tight fit. How do I get the batteries out? Still hoping for a good answer! Mine too. I ended up just throwing the thing away. I FINALLY got them out, but the flashlight was ruined.The acid did more than just leak. It started eating away the switch that turns it on when twisted.

How do you remove rusted batteries from the main cylinder in a magnalite mini flashlight? I have a mini-mag flashlight. The AA batteries are corroued and stuck in the cylinder. How can I remove them without damaging the flashlight Most batteries actually come with a guarantee (read the fine print on the back of the package). Call the 800 number for the brand you used and ask them to replace your flashlight. You might have to send it to them, but since it's already dead, you need minimum protection for the shipping. If you're nice, and explain that the shipping is close to the original cost, you might be able to talk them into just replacing it without you send the damaged one. You should be able to get a new one, plus batteries, for less that the cost of the original. It won't die from unseen corrosion in the future, either...

how can i make a mini turbine for flashlights? hi there guys. I would like to make a "mini" turbine for a flashlight. the one that doesn't need batteries, more like a shake light. I would like to install this on a bicycle if possible. I would like to use materials that can be found easily or possible, find them at home. use a small motor from tape recorder or decks.

About how many lumens are the cheap 9 LED mini flashlights? I bought this performance tool 9 led flashlight for like 2 bucks at advance auto. Its handy but i am thinking about spending ~30 to get a better flashlight that is around 100 lumens. I am just curious to find out about how many lumens this flashlight is to know if it would be that big of an improvement but i cant seem to find information on how many lumens it has anywhere I honestly do not remember very well any more, but this was brought up on CPF. I would say about 35 lumens +5 or -5 lumens. I am not positive since I never use them. I mainly use higher end lights.
Keep in mind that if you buy a flashlight that is LED, and it says it can put out 100 lumens, it will likely not put out 100 lumens. Many China made lights will say 100 lumens, but that is technically incorrect, since that is what the LED is capable of putting out, not what is truly coming out the front. Therefore it could be far less than 100 lumens. Typically if you buy an American made light from companies like Surefire, Muyshondt, Inova, etc. they will have the actual output listed. However, they are not cheap, and I paid a very high cost for my Muyshondt Aeon, which can put out 115 lumens on high, 10 lumens on low, and has amazing battery life for a CR2 battery. It is not the brightest, but it is definitely a very high quality light.
I am not saying that all China made lights are this way, but many of them are. This can go for many lights made in the USA as well as other countries.

Trying to find non-LED mini-flashlights for halloween. Help? All I can find are LEDs. I have a costume that needs yellow light, not white/blue and that's what I'd get with LEDs. Does anyone know of a place I could find non-LED flashlights? Online? I checked Walgreens and got LED flashlights. Would Rite Aid have them? Strosniders? Thanks a bunch! eBay
