What is the name of a Japanese Medical/therapeutic instrument that resembles metal chopsticks? Hi, I've been to Japan several times and have come across several times this "medical" instrument that looks like chopsticks, but have some form of incence burning inside...it heats up the tips making them almost red... and you rub it on your skin, your head, your arms... to help blood circulation. The "incense" inside is called moxa. Common name mugwort. It burns very hot and increases circulation to the area. The treatment is called moxibustion. Brilliant for arthritis pain as well. The delivery system is a variation of this:

What is the name of this medical instrument? I wish I had a picture of it but I'll try to describe it. In conclusion, an experts opinion is exactly that "an experts opinion," and to be lacking in research of the product before getting an experts opinion will only discredit you as a manufacturer etc.

When the person attempts to talk the hand held unit turns the vibrations into sound. It is a monotone robotic sound but it allows the person to communicate in words. I have a friend who is a "central" sterile processing and distribution technician. And she said that's where the money is. But what does that "central" part mean? And what's the difference? "Central" means for the entire building. All medical supplies are distributed through the "central supply" department, and that includes everything from sterile items through toothbrushes.
I don't understand why your friend told you that's "where the money is". Sterile supply clerks don't do that well, really. I don't know where you live, but a sterile supply tech starts at about $22,500/yr and tops out at $35,800. Where I live, that would barely cover rent and food.
Stay in school and train for something that has a bit more potential.
