They do not make a aftermarket led taillight set for my car. so i was wondering how to make my own.. thank you well that dose grate some what of a problem for you for in order to try and help it would be beneficially to know what type vehicle you have and try to find one that is darn close to forthwith and size of your old one and fit to to the body or you could just get some st ope and turn tail lights for around 19.95 plus get a light gasket and a three wire pig and cut a round hole into your car fender and change it that why but i dint rec amend that for it would look kind of tacky

My guess is that the lights are wired to be used with a European headlight switch, and you may need just that to get them to work.

how can u make a LED taillight? I just made a set of custom tail lights for my Ranger. I'm telling you this, don't bother making your own, buy a kit. There was probably 100 hours involved in making the taillights, and the front marker lights, and I knew exactly what I was doing. Its very time consuming, and quite expencive for quality LED's and resistors. Then having to modify a current, or new light housing to contain the LED circut. Its not worth it, I love how my lights work, but if I knew how much time I was going to put into them, I know I could have spent my time better. There are kits for LED conversions for most vehicles out there and they are not that badly priced, I was looking at a set and it was about $350 for the tails. It cost me about $200 in parts, and 100ish hours of my time. To me, that 100 hours could have been spent much better, and the $150 to cover the building costs, shipping, and ect, would be well worth it (I'm using my prices for my truck, others will very). I have the front markers to finish up, but after that, no more. then again, my tail lights consist of 150 10mm LED's per side, and 125 LEDs on the front per side. Thats a lot f aligning and fine tuning to get everything to work.

help!!! 99 s10 blazer LED taillight problem? i have a 99 s10 blazer. i installed some LED taillights...someone tell me why when i put the blinker on, they flicker way too fast than normal... Frequent problem... the LED's don't draw enough power and they blink stupid fast...
Just get a heavy duty flasher and it'll compensate and slow the flash down.

if i install led taillight on 03 330 ci does it give me problems with the ecu? The lamp control module monitors miniscule voltage drops through the various bulbs even when the bulbs are turned off (and turns on the check lights if the findings are out of specs when you turn on the ignition).
So yes, the LCM could give you a problem. But it can be resolved not only by proper wiring but also by coding/retrofitting the led's. A dealer would not do this for you, so only a good independent BMW shop would be your option.
Nonetheless try to install it first properly, then if it sets up a check light have it coded. Or simply disregard the check light.

Brightest led taillight you can buy? Needs to be bright in low sun I do extensive night riding & have tried a number of different lights, and have friends who have a number of different lights. Hands down the best light is one of the cheapest.

You can practically use this light as a flashlight it is visible for such a long distance. I 100% recommend this light...what do you have to lose for $15?

Can anyone find LED taillights for 03 ford focus 4 door? I've searched and googled my ass off trying to find LED taillights for my 4dr 03 focus. I can only find it for the hatchback. Since i can not have blue taillights (clearly been told by my fellow yahoo users) I want LED taillights.I can always count on yahoo users! dont let me down! you'll struggle to find any as the 4 door is a lesser popular model most aftermarket companies won't spend the money and time making moulds etc for any mods

how to wire upgraded LED taillights without a separate turn bulb? the old taillight assy used a separate amber turn bulb. but my new LED assy has only 2 circuts, 'turn/tail' is one circut. how do I rewire or use diodes to make this work?

Is it possible to change or tweek on an LED marker light? can an LED Marker light be a taillight/breaklight.? I found a really cool LED light for big rigs and want to use it on my harley. I need it to get brighter when breaks are on. And, breaks need to light up when used even when headlight is not on. Anyone got any ideas? you can not make a led light get brighter you will need to get 1 or 2 smaller led's then in the back of your tail light assembaly you will find two sets of wires 1 for tail light and 1 for the break light wire the tail light in to the smaller led and the brake in to the larger led (the one you like!) remember brake light's must be red
