Who can you have install LED lights under the dash for you? Is there somewhere you can go where they will do this for you? Most aftermarket retailers which sell them also install them. Truck accessory, sport compact accessories, stereo installers...

How can a build a display of LED emergency dash lights? How can a build a display of LED lights? I sell emergency vehicle lights. I would like to be able select one model at a time (similar to car stereo displays commonly found in retail stores). The display would be a wall with a push button switch that would power 12vdc cigarette lighter outlet. I only want one unit to be powered at a time. Could I do this with momentary switches and a type of relay circuit? It would be a simple matter of the 12 volt supply wire all the negatives together. Personally I'd get a rotary selector switch and wire the main positive to a fuse then to the incoming and the outputs to each different lighter plug. Be sure to chose components that exceed the highest current draw of the highest current draw light.
You can do the same with momentary switches but they are pricey especially for higher current ones . you can do it to power individual relays but that might get pricey depending on number of lights/relays needed
Another simple way is to use a standard light bar control box and wire each output to a different light

I have a red car tinted windows so i was planning to get RED and RED ... Like, there is a law. Most states vary but they generally have laws pertaining to who is allowed to use what colors. There are stiff penalties for using police or fire/ems colors without authorization. Most places allow amber lights as caution lights for snowplows and towtrucks, but don't get caught messing around with red or blue lights. Should be able to check on your states website or local police to find out what the exact law is in your area. But generally emergency warning lights are by law only permitted in privately owned vehicles operated by either sworn law enforcement personnel or volunteer fire/ems.

i want to hook up led lights under my dash how do i wire 2 turn on only wen my headlights turn on? i have a 98 grand prix and i want to wire led lights under my dash...how do i wire them to turn on only when i turn my headlights on? i thought a 98 pontiac had daytim running lights anyways there is several ways this can be done but easiest way is hooking it to the stereos DIM wire or a more complex way is to wire it to the light switch that turns the headlights on another and probably next simpleist way is to splice it to the wires that do directly to you headlights u will need plenty of wire for that job but all three methods should work well

think you better do some reading, state differ...so check your local state stats. but either way itll be a misdemeanor or a felony

Changing stock dash LED lights!!? I have a 2001 toyota celica & I've seen the dash lights changed from orange to red and I want to know how to do it. I know you have to change the LED's behind the gauges but I don't know exactly how and how to disconnect the stock orange LED's. please help :) Its not too hard, I changed my lights to blue, however its not a DIY project, you have to remove part of the speedometer so its better have a pro do it. Any car alarm installer can put them in.

im a north carolina emt is it legal to run red/white led dash lights in my pov? best thing to do is to check w/ your local police. just about all states make emt,ff ( fire fighters ),off duty police/ reserve run light bars in pov's w/ a siren. dont think just a dash light will do it. also check on the color of lights to. most ff,emt only can have red,amber,green,clear. but not blue. if you have a light bar and using dash lights. shouldnt be a problem. i would add wig wags to the head lights for added saftey as well. plus they look cool to lol. check www.galls.com . there cheap and eazy to put on.
