Does anyone like the start of my story? Please I need opinions.? Here it is I casually glimpsed up at the neutrally tinted clouds that hovered above me with darkness and depression as I walked away from the bus stop. School had ended for today, and each step that i took meant I was one step closer to getting home. For right now that's all i could think about. Home. The shelter and protection that kept me away from the dangers and darkness of the world. Home. As I walked past house's and cars, approaching the dirt trail that lead to my house, a sudden obscure feeling went through my whole body. It was a strange feeling. I stopped in the middle of the road and stood there. It was like fear struck me, but I could not understand why. I could feel a shiver run down my spine and my palms began to sweat. My heart started to race at a fast pace. As I thought over this I wasn't aware of the headlights from the distance. While I still stood in the middle of the road, a vecile was approaching me at 80 km an hour. Suddenly,the light of the headlights shown in my eyes and I saw a car approaching me at great speed. Frightened like a deer in headlights, i jumped out of the way. While I jumped, the car swurved against the road a few times as dirt, smoke and the smell of burned rubber filled my lungs. I flew from the jump and hit the ground with a hard impact against my body. My back pack flew off my arms and landed in front of me. My body ached. I had aimed for the grass near the trail, but hit the side of the road instead. I had fallen against gravile, stones, and broken glass from the drunk that lived by and I rolled till I came to a complete stop. Injured, I picked my self up. I brushed off the stones and looked down at my jeans. They were ripped and torn in many different place's. Piece's of glass were stuck in my flesh as blood trickled down from my opened cuts. My black t-shirt was also ripped in many different places and my shoe had flown off. What was mother and father going to say? I asked myself. As I stood, looking at all my wounds, all of a sudden I heard the car, that had almost run me over, come to a complete stop. I heard the engine's turn off and car doors opening. Alarmed, I limped over to my bag and picked it up with my scratched up hands. I slunged it over my shoulder. The pain increased from the weight of the bag on my shoulder, but i knew I had to carry it one way or another. I was in trouble. Deep trouble. And I had to get out of here as fast as I could. My heart was pounding rapidly and I was breathing very heavily. My head began to spin. While footsteps echoed in my eardrums behind me, I started to jog. The sevre pain coming from my leg while I jogged did not help but I had no choice. I jogged and jogged. I jogged to the dirt trail and I kept on jogging in it. I kept jogging till I couldn't see the entrance to the trail, or any echoe of footsteps. I jogged till I was completely alone. I stopped. I dropped my bag on the ground. Dust slowly spiraled from the impact of the bag against the dirt and slowly disappeared in the wind. I looked around. The dirt trail was in a forest and I was surrounded by tall oak trees that hid the sky. The forest was huge. It was made up of hundreds of trees and there were many trails on the dirt trail. Some lead to homes, some lead to streets. Over all the dirt trail that was connected with the forest and many other trails was large. I leaned over and placed my hands on my thighs while I took a breath. I was exausted, tired, and in pain. I closed my eyes and took a few more breaths as I tried to calm my self down from what just happened. Thoughts and emotions raced through my head. The question that I had asked in my thoughts still was repeating inside my head over and over again as I kept my face to the direction of the ground, What was mother and father going to say? I calmed down. I felt my chest. My heart started to beat normally again. As I came up from my crunched down position, I suddenly froze. Unexcpectidly, a faint fog had begun and standing infornt of me was a dark figure. I gasped. Was this one of the people from the car accident? I thought. Panicked, I started to back away , not realizing a small pot hole behind me. I fell into the pot hole with my bad leg and fell backwards. I hit the ground once again, with a hard impact against the back of my head. Oww! I cried in my thoughts. I rubbed the back of my head with my hand as I slowly looked up from the ground.I Iooked up and I could see the figure more clearly. It was a guy. His hand was reached out ,from where he stood, towards me as he stared at me with his deep, blue eyes. "Here..." The guy said. "Take my hand." The words echoed through my head till I realized what he had asked. I reached out my soar arm to his delicate, soft hands. He grabbed hold of me and pulled me up. He pulled me up so fast I didn't even realize that I had left the dirt ground. I was now face to face with him. He smiled and put his hand on my arm. His hand sat there for a few m There will be a part 2! Well in my opinion it was really good.When you cut it off I was so sad I want more,you now have me begin for more.That was a great job!I think you could have a future as a writer.I hope I helped you and good luck writing!

I have to write a story for school and this is what i have so far but im getting bored and i dont know i should carry it on,, please help me: The Forest I stood up and slowly walked through the dark icy cold forest. From underneath my feet, I could hear the loud crunching of the autumn leaves scattered around me. My ears were filled with the sound of the bitter wind gushing around. In the distance, a solitary howl emerged from behind the trees, sending chills down my spine. My eyes darted around, looking at the eerie surroundings. Looking in all directions, I searched and searched for the way out of this nightmarish position; But no luck. I had soon grown familiar to the forest when all of a sudden; I heard a car engine in the distance. Then two bright headlights surfaced out of the foggy mist and were heading straight for me. I began thinking that this game of hide and seek had gone a little too far. I shouted out for my friends. No reply. I could hear my heart loudly thumping inside my trembling body. I shut my eyes tight, wishing hard to be back in my warm soft bed. When I opened eyes, to my disappointment, I was still in the same spot. As the car came closer, I was still in my frozen statue like position. I rapidly began thinking of what to do; run away and hide or stay and get caught by the mysterious car. In my mind there was only one option, so I set off through the thick dense forest in desperate hope of finding my inconsiderate friends. I kept stumbling over old logs in my way and twigs brushing past me felt as though they were trying to hold me back, but I wouldn’t let anything get in my way of escaping. Through the blistering cold, I ran further and further into the deep gloomy woods, going over how and why I had ended up alone in a forest. Why had they left me in a deserted forest, without any obvious means of escape? They had jokingly threatened to do this before, but never had it actually crossed my mind that they would go through with it. But when I came to think of it, this was typical of my so called friends. In the frozen wintry wind, my body quickly became numb and I desperately longed for this bizarre game to be over and done with. Gradually, I became more at ease with my location and assuring myself that I would soon find everyone, my running became jogging which slowed down into more of a care free pace. The atmosphere was completely silent with the only sound being the thud of my heart pounding and my heavy breathing. With my mind at rest, my mind began wandering and I forgot about all my problems, when all of a sudden I heard rustling behind me. I assured myself it was nothing and quickened my pace again. But there it was again; the rustling in the shrubbery behind me. I froze. With the moon being my only source of light, it was difficult to identify the mystifying person. I hesitated. Taking a chance, I uneasily called out, “Guys, is that you?” No reply. “S-seriously, this isn’t funny anymore,” I managed to stutter, “I know it’s you!” But I didn’t. My body filled with hatred for my friends. ‘Why me?’ That’s what kept running through my head all this time. It’s not like I had done anything to them so why were they punishing me? Full of misery and desperation, I turned around solemnly to face my tormentor. Darkness. Nothing but complete darkness, until the familiar car headlights flashed past me in the distance casting a shadow and revealing a mysterious figure lurking in the foliage for a moment. In an instant my heart stopped and before I got the chance to scream out, a forceful tight hand came from behind, covering up my mouth. I lost all sense of awareness as the aggressive hand gripped my mouth tighter; I began to lose my breath. Struggling and sputtering I tried to scream but my words couldn’t catch the air and I began feeling weak from my attempts of escaping. My tormenter began shouting things in my ear that I was too disorientated to in take in. After realising that I was no hope, they impatiently pushed me to the ground and ran away leaving me in a frail and pathetic state, lying in the middle of an icy cold, muddy damp forest.Lying there all alone in a bewildered state, I tried to …. What a good story so far. It's all so dramatic and vivid. It's a job to add anything else without overkilling things. My suggestion is to cut to another scene - maybe next day in school or at work when you meet up with the people who haunted you but they're behaving as if nothing had happened so you end up wondering if it was all just a bad dream. But then little things start to happen in your normal daily life that make you wonder whether there really is a plot to drive you crazy.
But you'll have to work out the reason why everyone is being so mean to you.

You criticize the kids of today for their satanic suicide-inducing music, forgetting that you rocked to Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath. You call the police on a noisy party next door instead of grabbing beer and joining it. You turn down free tickets to a rock concert because you have to work the next day. When grass is something that you cut, not cultivate. When jogging is something you do to your memory. Getting a little action means your prune juice is working. All the cars behind you flash their headlights. You remember the "Rolling Stones" as a rock group not a corporation. You bought your first car for the same price you paid for your son's new running shoes. You actually ASK for your father's advice. You don't know how to operate a fax machine. When someone mentions SURFING you picture waves and a surf board. guess i'm not cool :(

i think i was almost kidnapped? so this happened when i was in eighth grade, and just so you know i have always been tall and never looked my age. i had just started getting into working out and jogging around the neighborhood so i decided to go jogging in the mornings before school. i rode the city bus to school at this time and i had to wake up at 5 in the morning to catch the bus by 6:16 so on this day i probably woke up around 4 to have my run. i had a dog with me and a flashlight and a cellphone in my pocket, it was extremely dark and i could barley see except for random lights here and there and my flashlight. now, my neighborhood is like an oblong and misshapen loop with side streets and few cul- de- sacs. there is one entrance in the neighborhood, only one way in and out and you can see the entrance all the way down the main street which soon curves and loops back around to the very beginning of the neighborhood, right next to the entrance. my street comes off of the main street and dead ends. so i had just looped around and was back on the straight part of the loop where you can see all the way to entrance. i had heard a few cars and would make sure to turn around and see them, checking to see if the saw me, seeing as i didnt want to get hit.most pulled out of the neighborhood going to work and maybe one or two pulled in coming home from a night shift. its 4 in the morning remember. i then heard a car and turned around just to see it, it was at the stop sign where the street loops around and comes back close to the main entrance. so i figured it was leaving, that would be the only logical thing. but then i didnt hear the engine fade away. i turn around again and see it coming up the street but extremely slow, like 10 miles an hour slow which is really weird. so i found that very strange and i thought well maybe they forgot something, well they arent really in a hurry to get it then... i turn around again and it is much closer to me and the person driving this white pickup truck can definitely see me as it is going very slow very near to me. i pick up my pace a little and tried to shake the nerves. then it all of the sudden it pulled into one of the little cul de sacs. and relief thank god it wasnt following me. but then it didnt pull into one of the 3 driveways and pulled up right behind a couple of the big huge trees so it was mostly hidden. it then turned out its headlights and just sat there with the car still running. as i finished passing the cul de sac, but could still see it, i realized that this was not normal so i quickened my pace and pulled out my phone. i didn't call anyone because i didn't want to freak anyone out but i put it up to my ear as if i was calling someone and i starting running faster. i was about to pass my street but decided i needed to go home right away. so as i was getting closer i decided once i get off the sidewalk and cross the street to my road i am going to full out run. as soon as i stepped off the sidewalk the truck whipped out from behind the trees going way too fast right at me and i ran for my life with my dog by my side. i didnt look back until i was on top of my driveway. so i don't know how close it ever got to me or what it did after that but i do know that something wasn't right. my whole life my mom made me watch 48 hours and gone missing and everything like that so i would know how to fight off kidnappers and how they worked. i also knew that from a study with the criminal mind the best hours for kidnapping is from 3-6 in the morning and typically people getting off work or woman exercising. i never told anyone because i couldn't decide whether i was making it out to be something its not... what do you think?

What songs do you have on your jogging/exercise playlist? Currently I have these songs all playing in order: Republica - "Ready to Go" Interpol - "Slow Hands" Fatboy Slim - "Right Here, Right Now" Deftones - "Digital Bath" Radiohead - "Where You End + I Begin" The Breeders - "Cannonball" Sneaker Pimps - "Roll On" The Foo Fighters - "The Pretender" Doves - "Pounding" Elastica - "Connection" Broken Social Scene - "7/4 (Shoreline)" Headlights - "Put Us Back Together Right" Band of Horses - "The Funeral" The intensity and BPM fluctuate with these songs to make a nice, well-paced hour-long run. "Ready to Go" has almost always been the song that starts it all off and I doubt it'll ever get bumped. Then Broken Social scene starts the cooldown process. Actually, I do listen to some metal and have listened to some-a lot of all of those band you've mentioned, with the exception of Turisas. Very much dig Arch Enemy and SYL (Devin Townsend is one of the most innovative figures in metal. Also, have seen both bands through the years). Also casually listen to Dream Theater, Dragonforce, Maiden and Megadeth. As for Metallica, they're utter sh*t trying to pass off as thrash. Death Angel would throw rice at them. Music is music, and assumptions are assumptions. Cheers! I usually just throw on shuffle, gets a good mix of music in there...though sometimes I do get the urge to listen to a particular song and it's hard to find the song while on shuffle so then I might make a quicke playist.

On Friday, August 26, 2005, Officer Todd Melbourne of the Phoenix Police Department drove his cruiser behind a red Honda Civic heading northbound on Hayden Road. The Civic had a crack in the windshield, one headlight was out, and traveled 5 mph under the speed limit. Officer Melbourne also noticed the vehicle tags were two months past due. Name of tv programme with a classic car that comes to life? I live in the UK, and grew up in the 90s watching television. There was a programme about a small classic car which would come to life and drive itself around. I also recall it's headlights being emphasised as eyes, so it would move them around etc. It was a very small car, and it was kept in a yard of other cars, which it used to escape from to have 'adventures'. I have a feeling the seats inside were red, if that jogs your memory. If you mean the children's shows it was called Brum, if you mean the more grown up films therte were more modern remakes of the classic film Herbie, like Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo etc.
It depends on your meaning of small. Brom was a model car but Herbie wsafull sized Volkswagen Beetle.

It lacks the rhyme scheme (ababcdcdefefgg) and meter (iambic pentameter lines), as well as the complex logical structuring of argumentation between quatrains. It is not, in the strictest sense, even poetry, because it uses no easy ornaments, no tropes, and no syntactic overstructuring, no rhetorical devices, etc... You are loosely telling a story and arbitrarily breaking it into short lines. That's not poetry, that's not a Shakespearean sonnet. This is:
What is a poem? A craft of words and sense,
Of sinewed syntax wrought with utmost care,
Of tropes and lines, and simple ornaments,
Steered on their course by winds grown wise with wear.
A craft of silk so finely sewn it seems

If you had a green light and a pedestrian ran into you who would be at fault? I saw this actually last week when some idiot going for a jog never bothered to look before crossing the street. The said person did not get hurt but I believe she hit her hand on the front fender or maybe the headlight. I know that pedestrians are protected a lot these days which is the only reason I ask. It depends on when and where. In Las Vegas if a person walking crosses at a marked or statutory crosswalk and is hit by a car, the police will usually consider the car driver at fault unless the pedestrian crossed against a pedestrian stoplight. But, if the pedestrian crosses anywhere else, the police will usually cite the pedestrian and it will be extremely hard to win the pedestrian’s case.

whats the show where police pull over drivers and they have ridiculous excuses for speeding, etc? for instance, there was this guy doing about 20 over the speed limit in his mustang because he thought there was a chupacabre chasing him and he could see it from his rear view. also, there was another guy who didnt have headlights, so him and his friend were using big flashlights, lol . and there were Canadian girls and a girl was drunk jogging and she got pulled over. if that helps [: please help me, thaanks .
