I would visit the Home Depot website and/or call your local Home Depot and ask. Ours requires you to sign up ahead of time. Also, I am not sure if it is intended for children as young as 3 so you might want to inquire about that as well.
For your information, Lowe's has similar workshops. Arts and crafts stores such as A.C. Moore and Michael's do as well.
What kind of home depot wood is safe for animals? I have 2 degus (squirell like animals) and i want to build them some levels in their cage with wood. I have a local home depot but not sure what kind of wood i should use? Any ideas? Any alternative ideas for levels that i can get at the local home depot? Preferably an untreated hardwood like maple or birch but those are more expensive. Untreated aspen is safe. Untreated pine shouldn't be used but it's safer than cedar or any treated woods. Whatever you do, DO NOT get any cedar or anything that has been treated with anything (ie: pressure treated-which contains arsenic).

While in the USA in February I watched tv at my mother's house. There was a special program (60 minutes?) about all the BAD workers hired by Home Depot. All the unfinished jobs and bad workmanship.
The final result was : always phone the Better Business Bureau in your area and get the list of COMPLAINTS about that particular installer, FIRST. Home Depot isn't going to give you that list. And they aren't going to give you a second installer for free!

However, obviously because my apartment is so small, finding somewhere to put all my furniture and my couch etc is going to be tough. Has anyone had any experience with this? Can Home Depot (or other) install flooring with all the furniture to one side, and then as they move across, move the furniture to the other side etc? Absolutely, just call them for an estimate and they'll come over check out your place and tell you. I buy houses and fix 'em up and I've had all kinds of situations like this one, no problem. If necessary they might be able to temporarily use the hallway for a while, but it can be done..

I had an estimate from Home Depot on a Trane system. They gave me a price of $8500. I thought this was high so I looked around to other Trane dealers and got the same unit for $5300.
Their salesman told me that places like Home Depot just contract it out to a local company and tack a hefty profit on for themselves.
I check out who was doing the installs for Home Depot and he was right. It was a local company contracted to Home Depot.

I used to work at home depot. It depends on the store and the associate. Most of the time, my store didn't even charge it unless you wanted a LOT of little cuts. So it depends on how many cuts you need. Also, be extra nice. If you are a B**** about it, then most likely they will charge you! No one wants to help anyone who is rude to them.
The policy is the first 2 cuts are free, 25 cents after each other cut. But if you only need like 4 cuts, they probably won't even charge you. It is really up to the associate to decide if they charge you or not. Try going at a less busy time when they aren't too busy or you may have to wait awhile!
