I want to buy a bike. Please advice? I want to buy a bike. Please advice .
I have to to ride min. of 36KM everyday on weekdays within busy city roads for office
. On weekends may be 70KM. The road to office are busy and not good.
Previously I thought of Pulsar 135 LS. But after doing a little bit research on the net , I
found many problems reported with the bike - ranging from noisy engine , vibration
to uncomfortable ride due to hard seat. From the begining I did not like the look of the
bike - specially the front view , headlamp style and the split seat. But its a Pulsar.
Now I am also considering Pulsar 150 also. But it also has the same problem inherent
to all Bajaj bikes. Noisy engine after 1 year , chain loosens after every 10000KM and so
on.
On the other hand , if I consider Honda Unicorn , its review is pretty good . Every bike
has some problem. But it is giving very stable performance and good review
compared to Pulsar. The ride is comfortable also. Only problem reported with this
bike is for speedometer, fuel indicator and low milage as reported on the site.
it gives good performance for about 5 years as compared to Pulsar whose body
detereorates after 2 years.
But the big cons for this bike is its look. Pulsar is king in looks and power. I really like
Pulsar. My heart says Pulsar, my brain says Unicorn. Please suggest.
PS : My height is 5'5" . Will Unicorn be problem for me ?
