does anybody know where i can by a tiny led light bulb for my foglight switch? the foglight switch in my grand prix has two very small bulbs hat no longer light up, the switch still activates the foglights so i asume the bulbs are bad. they are very small, id say a little smaller than tiny christmas light bulbs. i have seen similar bulbs online but i believe there is supposed to be wires coming out that you have to solder in a connection. most parts stores carry these,radio shack also has them,there about the same thing that lights the radio up,and i have bought those at radio shack before,there not expensive,take the old one with you,so they can match it up,good luck with it.

Were the murders that led to the conviction of the Kray twins as brazen as depicted in the film? Regarding George Cornell and Jack 'The Hat' McVitie, was there no attempt to conceal the murders, or were they as obvious as seen in the film? Any books or passages I have read do seem to concur that George Cornell was killed in a busy pub. Why was this - were the Krays (especially Ronnie) that far over the edge by this point? Pretty much. Cornell was shot in the middle of a crowded pub. None of the customers were prepared to talk to the Police. The barmaid failed to identify anyone in an identity parade, claiming that she 'had a poor memory for faces'. A number of people who'd got on the wrong side of the Krays had 'disappeared' in the previous few years, and presumably she didn't fancy joining that list.
Jack 'the Hat' McVitie was lured to a basement flat in Stoke Newington where they tried to shoot him, but the gun jammed. He tried to climb out of the window, was dragged back inside and stabbed to death. His body was never found. Rumours circulated that it had been buried in concrete or eaten by pigs. The murder wasn't carried out 'in public' like Cornell, but McVitie had been acting defiantly towards the Krays in the weeks before his death. When he vanished from the scene, people in that area wouldn't need to ask what had happened; They could figure it out for themselves.
I'd say that the Krays had reached a point where they really did think they could get away with anything. At one point, they seriously considered trying to kill Police Inspector 'Nipper' Read who was conducting an investigation of their activites. That kind of overconfidence was to lead to their downfall.

I would say something fairly close to the visual spectrum - I think the one from Radio Shack might work. You can check by using a digital camera to photograph the LED: if there is no image then it is too far off the wavelength; if the LED is emitting in the correct range it will put a big bright spot in the photo.
The key is going to be what wavelengths the cameras detect though. If the camera is narrowly keyed on visual light, the idea won't work.
Also, be careful using such devices around your eyes. Infrared is heat. If you direct it at your corneas, for example, you might cook them without realizing it. Ending up needing cornea transplants won't be much fun. And spending a night with the corneal epithelium dying and peeling away, even if it eventually regrows, will be agony like you wouldn't believe.
Another consideration is that security guys have no senses of humor. If you were spotted doing something like this in a secure space, public or private, expect them to really throw the book at you. And if, for example, the place was an airport in a frightened country, that will be a very big book. Seriously: expect years in prison and lifetime legal consequences.

what is a hit hat on a drum set? is it the same thing as a hi-hat? i was looking at a drum tab for led zeppelin's "rock and roll" and it says that the drummer (bonham) uses a hit hat...can someone explain to me what this is? It is two cymbals together and when a foot petal on the floor is hit the two cymbals hit together. The top one goes up and then comes down and hits the bottom one. Look at any trap set or watch any drummer playing and you will see the hi-hit in action.

How to connect led lights together [picture diagram inside]? I recently made a santa hat with a led light, and a switch on it. But I have no idea how to connect more led lights to make the hat better. I am only using a (2) AA Battery Holder right now, and Im bout to buy a 9v battery holder so i can have more power. But how would I connect more than one led light? Here is what my wiring looked like right now: http://dalhartfinest.com/ledhelp.gif First. Don't connect a 9V battery; it will probably cause the LED(s) to fail. I am guessing that your current battery holder places the two AAs in series and provides 3V; that is about the most you should use.
You can connect as many LEDs in parallel as you want. More will run your battery down sooner, but they draw very little current so this should not be an issue.
To make the hat a little more reliable (less likely to fail), stick a resistor in series with the LEDs to limit current flow. What size you use will depend on how many LEDs you end up with; start with about 150 ohms.

Baby led weaning question - do you offer 2-3 foods or 1 for 4 days ? I read hat with baby led weaning offer 2-3 veg at first but elsewhere says one food for 4 days. What did you do and how often did you offer? I didn't do baby led weaning - my son got hungry to early for him to be able to feed himself, but if I had, or was to with #2, then I would follow the same advice that usually goes with puréeing, ie to introduce one new food at a time, and wait for a couple of days before introducing something else, to help identify possible allergies.
Most people have no problem with fruit and veg, but I would rather be a bit cautious and safe, rather than sorry because I didn't catch an allergy straight away.
