Glock 21 SF model holster question!!? hey guys... i have a glock 21 sf with the 1913 picatinny rail system on the front. i want a holster that will fit it with a tac light on it.... does anyone know from experience if the safariland 6280 will fit it with the light? I know it fits the regular 6280... thanks guys very nice fit...i have a glock 21 with the m1 on it and it is really nice i would reccomend it even for the big $$...i have the tactical thigh holster i don't know if your talking about the hip or thigh holster....but both are really nice

Anyone know of a good holster for Glock 21SF? I just bought one for duty cary.. I need something that has tac light and good for duty cary.. I am a police officer and I have nylon belt accessories.. I an more conserned in funactionality than looks.. Just cant seem to find one that will take in Picitiny rails.. (sorry for spelling) Safariland has a good line of holsters for the Glock. Duty Holsters with Tac light.? I am looking for a Level 3 retention duty holster for a glock 22 with a light. I am currently trying the Uncle Mikes Evo 3 but it's really bulky and tight when removing the pistol. Anyone with actual experiance with a good holster? Yes I understand that retention is built in. (this is not my first holster) I also found that my Tac light was causing the unwanted retention so thats no longer an issue. But the Evo3 is still extreemly bulky (it looks like its from Star Wars) and I would like a little slimer holster. Most level 3 holsters I have seen are supposed to be that way - however with wear they will ease up. What you are looking for is not available - the purpose of a L-3 is weapon retention - not for it to be easily removed from the holster.

SPRINGFIELD AMORY or GLOCK? ok cant make up my mind. springfield armory i know i want a 5" tac but i donno if i want the XD40(.40) or the XD9(9mm), or in the glock its eather a G17(9mm) or the G22(.40) ammo where i am is $23 a box of 50ct for the.40 and $13 a box of 50ct for the 9mm i just cant choes between theese four guns I prefer the Springfield XD over Glocks. I think the XD is an all around better gun. The XD is just as reliable as the Glocks are but the XD has 3 safeties (4 if you include the new thumb safety model that came out last year) that Glocks do not have. Both of the pistols use USA trigger safety (which I do not think is a true safety), but the XD has the grip safety (like a 1911), a striker status indicator (on back of slide) that you can visually see if the striker is in the ready to fire position, and the load indicator (on top of slide) that will visually tell you if you have a live round in the chamber.
I also like the ergonomics of the XD. It has a natural point that I do not see or feel in Glocks, the grip is a little smaller so my hand fits better (even for the full size Tactical Models). The XD is also a little heavier so less recoil. The sights are better and easier on my eyes.
As for those that say Glocks have less to break than the XD I have never had an issue with my XDs. I should also bring up the metal guide rod in the XD compared to the plastic one in the Glock...No after market parts needed for the XD.
What I suggest you do is to go to a local gun store and hold both guns and ask yourself what fits better for you. In then end that is what you should base your purchase on. Also ask the store employees which one they prefer and why and what they sell more of.

As for caliber, I think the .40 has a snap-like recoil that bothers my arm and wrist after a few minutes at the range...I think 9mm and .45acp are much smoother shooting.

Should I get a Slide or Full-Coverage MTAC holster? I want to get a MTAC IWB holster for my Glock 23 and I don't know if I should get the SIide or Full-Coverage version. The only thing the Slide version has going for it is that you can use multiple Glocks in it. I don't plan to use multiple Glocks in it, just the Glock 23. What is a good home defense shotgun? I am looking for a good entry level shotgun for home defense, with a fair balance between reliability, cost, and accessory availability. I currently have a Glock 27, and a nice tac'd AR - but I am starting to think if the manure gets in the fan at 0300, popping out of the sack and trying to engage bad guys accurately while still half asleep may be a bit harder than they make it look on TV... And I think the wider pattern and relatively "low" velocity (re: reduced chance of exiting the BG, and going across the street to my neighbors house) of some 00 buck should help level the playing field. I live in Florida, where we are blessed with a castle doctrine. Any suggestions from some pro's? Or even not-so-pro? Thanks in advance. ranger_co_1_75: Thanks for your opinion, Jackass. Wow... looks like the past 12 years I spent in the USAF behind a minigun was all for naught. And my current job as a police officer here in Florida is out the window, too. Maybe I should go sell insurance or something... If you don't think I KNOW what ANY load, much less 00 buck, will do once it leaves that muzzle, then you truly are a fool - and your profound answer to a question of opinion proves it. Thank you, and God bless. Mossberg, Remington and Winchester all have "defender" type pump action shotguns for this purpose. All can be had for under $400.
Avoid using "buckshot" as there will still be an over penetration problem that you will be held liable for. I would advise the use of 2 3/4 inch shells even if the gun will chamber 3 inch shells and I suggest that you use nothing larger than #4 shot in the shells.

Best Tac Light for Sig P229? Trying to find a good one for my Sig P229. I have a XTI Procyon on my Glock and tried to mount it on my Sig, but it's too loose and won't adjust any tighter. Any other suggestions? BTW, I am not trying to debate whether Tac-lights are useful or not, I got my own opinion, thanks.

in modern warfare 2, what should i use for my secondary. The Glock 18, or .44 magnum? i love both of them, both have got me out of some CQB moments, but what one should i stick with, i have the titles for both and all the attachments, what one do you guys like the most, personally, i love the glock 18 silenced and for the magnum either the tac knife or akimbo with steady aim. so what is your favorite out of the two, and what should i stick with because i hate having them each in everyother class I like both of them, but i personally prefer a different gun out of the two (M93 raffica because its powerful and accurate without any attachments). However, in your case I would stick with the magnum w/ tac knife because its deadly, especially in close quarters situations, not to mention powerful.

what are your recommendations for a good 9mm? criteria: Semi-auto, under $600, for a male with medium size hands, any caliber. This gun will be used for home protection as well as range, and amateur sport shooting. So im going to need one that has a rail for a tac light, I want something like the size of a Glock 17 or the Ruger SR9.
