Camping for a week.? Im going camping @ Timberlee for a week. They have all the basic stuff and we'll be staying in a cabin. Heres the list: -bible-----------shirts & t-shirts -water bottle---jeans & shorts -sleeping bags & linens-------pillow -tolietries------------------sweat shirts -flashlight--------------------------jacket -hat & sunscreen----insect repellant -rain gear--------------modest 1 piece swimsuit -towel---------pajamas & under wear -shoes & socks Is there anythign else that would probably be nice? Did they forget to right down anything??? A decent sized knife for protection/utility use.
Fishing pole & tackle!
Staying in a cabin? Well heck, bring some luxuries as well!
Steak for the grill!
Frisbee, football etc.
Salty snacks, jerky, chips etc.

What is a good flashlight for handyman type work? I used to really like my snake light by B&D, but it died a long time ago, and I read that the recent LED version isn't so great. I've been using a headlamp sometimes, but they are kind of a pain in winter when I have a hat on. Thanks! I like using the head-lamp, and they work fine with my hats.
I have a hand held 2xAA Aluminum flashlight, and a 18V one that uses my cordless drill batteries (it can set on a surface and .the light can twist around.)
Another consideration might be an LED trouble light you hang to light your work.
I also have plug in work lights, both in hanging incandescent and fluorescent lamps, and a halogen flood light.

What should I bring to camp? (Dress to impress)? I'm going back to summer camp this year, along with all my friends from last year. Last year they had pretty good style, so I wanna show them I have good fashion sense too. What kind of clothes should I bring? i.e. What types of patterns, styles of shirts, etc. I L0VE fashion, but I wanna make sure I got other peoples opinions ;) This is the list of stuff to bring, but what TYPE of the stuff should I bring? List provided by the camp: Warm sleeping bag & pillow Jacket, sweater or sweatshirt Pajamas Underwear Socks Long pants/jeans Shorts T-shirts, etc. One set of nicer clothes for church––nothing too formal, just nicer than “holey” jeans… One-piece swimsuit Closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes) Sandals/flip-flops Old pair of shoes that can get wet, if you go wading Brush/comb Soap/towel/washcloth Chapstick/sunscreen Toiletry articles (toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.) Bible Mosquito repellent Pen/paper (for letters home) Laundry bag Flashlight Hat Optional items such as disposable cameras, etc, may enrich the week(s), but they are not required. You're friends should already know you, and your style.
Just bring nice looking clothes (not formal but clean & stainless)
I would recommend darker colors because they don't show stains as easily
Regular tee shirts are fine, but i would go for a looser cut just because there might be a lot of activity
Bring an extra pair of clothing that you can get dirty
Also, check the weather report to see if you need rain gear/sun clothes
If you forget something someone will let you borrow it

Is it safe to wear all black during Halloween? O.K. for Halloween, I have black jeans, black shirts, black hats/gloves, black shoes, and black face paint, but I probably going down like not main roads that don't have street lights. So, I was wondering, if I brought a flashlight on those roads, if it would be safe enough. Also, they have ambulances stop the traffic so it goes like 20 miles an hour, yeah so it safe if I do that? or should i dress in street clothes casue I'm not getting candy, i'm just like following my friends? if your just going with friends, it should be fine however i would have some sort of reflective or glowing items so that people (who are not drunk) can see you and avoid you. if no one else has these types of items on them, it doesn't matter. keep yourself safe and have a happy Halloween.

Garter Games? How do you feel about when the groom takes the garter off the woman in a funny way? I have heard of some grooms pulling 'strange' items out from under the dress, or putting on a flashlight hat, or something... My fiance is a race car driver, so we were thinking of him bringing out a roller (the thing they lay on to work under cars) and using that to get under the dress and get the garter... What have you seen, and what do you think about it? Is it funny or rude or tacky? fizzystuff - just so you know, I don't thumbs down. :-) I've never seen anyone do something clever like that before! I think that's really funny and not tacky at all. Anyone who thinks so can just get over it and get a sense of humor.

Is this a good halloween costume? I'm going to be a cat burglar! I was planning on wearing black jeans, a black sweater, black sneakers, and a black knit hat, with a tool belt-type thing around my waist with like a flashlight on it and a couple other things maybe, with cat ears on top of my hat and paint my face like a cat, like the pink nose and whiskers. what would be a good item to hold for a Rorschach cosplay? i ahve the ink blot mask and trenchcoat, gloves shoes and hat, but sometimes Rorschach carries a flashlight or something. what would be a good item to use? Bring his gun that shoots the grappling hook. You'd be faithful to the book, not the crappy movie.
