12v battery on a gas scooter, do i need electricity hooked up to switch for solenoid? I have a 12v battery on a gas scooter (33cc) and i am thinking about getting a solenoid for my electric start for only 10 bucks instead of a new pull start (mine broke) for $35 U.S.. now i've heard trucks have to have electricity ( a small amount hooked up to the switch you press to make it send the 12v to the electric start) but do i need electricity hooked up to the switch for the scooter? and does it have to come from the battery or scooter? or can i just rig it with a 9v energizer attached? if it needs to come from the battery, please let me know how i can transform 12v to however many i need to make it work... please please help and thank you thank you thank you!!! I have a question about batteries? i got some AA Energizer batteries,but i screwed up,i got the rechargable ones,so they're new but will they work from the package? I mean how long will they work with out being recharged? Car battery terminal corrosion (with stereo system)? I want to know if this is inevitable? It seems like no matter what I do, after a few months there is a huge build up of snow in the terminal cap (the cap is platinum). Is this caused by incorrect wiring? Or is it just something that happens no matter what and routine maintenance should be done twice a month? im not sure if it matters, but details of my stereo: 6 gauge wiring for both power and ground wires. ground wire is hooked directly to chasis of vehicle (I sanded down and cleaned the metal before connecting). 1 capacitor (6 or 700 k not sure without looking) 1 760 watt amp two 12" subs (cant remember the wattage, probably 300 each) (and yes im aware i probably should of put 1 amp for each sub). everything is pioneer except for the 12band equalizer I have hooked up to the cd player and the capacitor. the vehicle is a 99 f-150 and the battery is an energizer (yes its good, so is the alternator). any tips, suggestions and advice are welcome (except for telling me to take all my sh!t out). This problem is terribly annoying, I hate dealing with the acidity and it prevents my truck from turning over correctly. you have a cheap old battery, and all battery will do that but not every few months, if you dont want to deal we it as it normal car maintenance get a seal battery and you will never have to clean it again, Optima Batteries are popular but will run you about 200$ they all are sealed non-serviceable battery

exeed rock crawler.. heres The final overview finally!! all the mods and finally I just did a complete scene overview of all the mods so far that have been done by me on the Exeed Mad rock crawler, axial high steer 6061 aluminum knuckles(waiting for the rears in the mail still) Novak Rooster ESC, angled axles, shortened wheelbase lengthwise, 2 165 oz/in servos comin for the 4wheel steering mod, venom 3 channel fm radio, HR Rover tires 5.5 in. tall with proline 2 stage mem. foams, 12t pinions for motors geared down a hair, paint job, CV boots from ofna buggy all around (works awsome),, weighted wheels with 20 Oz s. in each front only, 2 4000 mah lipo s comin in mail as well with charger, 2 3000mah Nimh 6 cells packs (stock), 2 axle mounted 7 cell sub c nimh 1900mah, 3000mah NIMH aa s for transmitter, axial battery plates for axle but have to me cut and moded to fit, 3 LED head light cluster from energizer headlamp custom fit and adjustable(see vid!!) running off 9v bat. with on off switch..HELLA bright LOL, 30wt. losi shock oil and 3 hole pistons, I wanna put some limiters inside the shocks but not fuel tube i need to order some shocks that come on the venom creeper thise are good shocks, last but not least some 1in. Altec Lansing woofers mounted in the bed of truck body, going to be hooked to the sony walkman 2g. mp3 player and mounted inside the body, thats soon to come and much more so stay tuned and thnx fer watchin da MAD CRAWLER exeed in life!!!! happy trails dooooood!!!

Redcat Sumo: Standing wheelies! This little truck has tons of torque on that stock 130 motor! 2300MAh Energizer rechargeable batteries, and truggy tires on a low pile entry mat carpet :) The video camera that I have with a screen is absolute garbage, please ignore the horrible quality at first. Strangely the 20 key chain cam I have works great! Now sit back, and enjoy the wheelies!
