Thanks Ken, I had actually purchased it from HomeDepot. I think I'll use a the soft tool bag, with a foam pad. I'll cut a wedge cut in the foam for the circular saw blade to rest in without pressure when I put it in the soft tool bag. thanks

I have carried my circular saw in a soft bag for years with no problems. Hard cases are nice if you have to travel, they take a lot more abuse. Hope this helps.

I need to buy a cordless circular saw. How about the Dewalt DC390B 6-1/2-Inch 18-Volt Cordless Circular Saw? Felicia, I tend to lean to Mikes answer here, but a little reminder that it will probably come with an electric charger to charge the battery for reuse. Now with this information ask yourself this; "If your going to use electric anyway", 'why' spend that kind of money when you can add a little to it and buy something that has an electric cord and will be more powerful and last longer. I have a cordless Dewalt-with a 4" blade on it and used it only when I didn`t have any electric available. And again when the battery went dead then I couldn`t cut any more unless I used an old fashion handsaw. If your worried about the weight of this tool then look at a similar size blade electric handsaw with a cord. Hoped this help you make a decision about your purchase on a handsaw. Are Dewalt bolts sae or metric? I have a DW369 circular saw. There is a bolt that tightens down the edge guide. Anyone know the bolt size/thread pattern? My Dewalt saw uses 1/4 - 28 NF thumb screw. I am not sure of the model number.

You'd need to find one that works on the same 14.4 voltage. Right now they don't seem to sell one in that voltage, only in 18V and higher. Your 14.4 battery wouldn't work in any of those.

But since it's not on Dewalt's site anymore, you should probably get it soon before they're hard to find. The battery in your drill and in that saw should be the same.
What tools would I need to get started in WoodWorking? For power tools would I need a Miter Saw, a Circular Saw, and a Jigsaw? Also, does Bosch or DeWalt make better saws. And if Bosch or DeWalt don't make good saws who does? I want to have a reasonably priced saw that works good, I sorta have a budget since im 15. Thanks!

Immediate needs: Orbital sander, cordless drill, jig saw, circular saw, good set of bits.
When you can afford them: Router, biscuit joiner, miter saw (go with the Bosch or a Hitachi), compressor/finish nailer/brad nailer, table saw, jointer, dust collection system.
Down the road: Second router, trim saw, second cordless, and upgrading any of the tools you have. Get a good book on making jigs and fixtures. These can save you a ton of time and effort if you do a project often. Don't forget about all of the consumables (nails, screws, stain/paint/varnish, glue, etc.). Woodworking is a great hobby. Left my cordless saw out in the rain? I accidentally left my DeWalt cordless circular saw out in the rain for two days... URGGGGGG. The battery pack was in at the time. Also my corded B&D jigsaw. Did I kill them? When I discovered them outside, I brought them in and shook them out and won't turn them on for a good while to let them dry out. Any suggestions? Thanks! The batteries should be ok but I'd worry about the coils in the saws rusting. I'd spray the metal on them with WD 40 and set them somewhere for awhile to dry out.
