Question about Proposition 65 "This product contains chemicals that can cause cancer"? I am torn between two flashlights- Coleman LED spotlight OR Cyclops Thor X Sirius. I was leaning towards the Cyclops but Amazon states a Proposition 65 warning. My question is, what is in the product that can cause cancer- if it is a lead battery, don't both product (nearly identical) contain the same potential carcinogens? If so, is it something I should really worry about or can I buy the Cyclops? This is a pointless phrase that can be added to nearly any product.
It may be that there is something that is a tiny internal component that will cause cancer if you ingest it in large quantities - it still gets the warning even if there is no chance of you eating your torch.
Silly warning that makes no distinction between things that are barely possible and other things that are highly likely.

Reverend Jim's second-to-last brain cell sizzles and melts in half a tablespoon of audience laughter, like that egg in the 1980s drug commercials, and she cracks a smile, somewhere inside. A little hand crawls up her neck and onto her cheek, like a tiny terantula. It tickles and she wants to brush it away, but she knows she can't - as this is merely a baby's way of showing love. Her tiny child, a boy with fine red curls and blue eyes as round as dimes, looks up at her, as if the blubber inside her face is his own personal bubble wrap, that somehow refuses to pop. Eyelids heavy with sleep, she drifts away into dreams of trees and neon-colored rainbows... Synthesizer beats dance inside her head. Rod Stewart stands on a freeway off-ramp selling hot sauce.............. the cyclops midget with an expensive beret twirls his moustache and says.............................................................................. Her eyes shoot open just in time to see a pink mini marshmallow flying out of a tiny terantula hand and into the flame of a burning Chanukah candle glowing in the window. "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" she screams, as the little pink ball of fluff bursts into a tiny flame before hitting the window with a tiny SPLAT. Now melted, now done for. She looks down into her child's tiny blue eyeballs,and cries, "My GOD, Son! What have you DONE??" To which he cries, with his gummy, toothless, love-filled smile, "MAMA!" .... as he sticks another marshmallow up her schnoz. I just like to write funny poems about my random daydreams. They are abstract, weird, sometimes sick. Stupid. But I enjoy them. What is the 4Q file? With some major modifications and a few spell checkers (Jewish, for one) it might just make it to the 4Q file. Must be part of a psychedelic sci- fi movie. But it has potential, for what, I don't know.

changeing spotlight batterys? i got a cyclops 6.5,and i burnt out the battery, i,m trying to put a 12v aqua view battery in it, it fits great but it keeps blowing my fuses, i've try up to a 20a fuse. the 15a fuse that was in it the light turned on a few times then it before the fuse went. with the 20a fuse it didn't even turn on it just went right away. can i just run it with no fuse or is there a way to rig it a different way. please help i'm going muskie fishing tonight and i what my spotlight with it had two 6v batterys that where connected together It uses a 2.6 volt rechargeable lead acid battery. 12 volts is much too high.

Your example shows two different effects.
The first is the circular or oval field of light on the stage that is fairly even in intensity except for the edges which are softened somewhat. That is typical of a type of theatrical spotlight called an "ellipsoidal" or "Leko" that is adjusted to be slightly out of focus. You could probably substitute an old slide projector and use a 2" x 2" piece of white cardboard with a hole cut in it to control the shape. Insert it where the slide would normally go. The flaps shown at the front of the spotlight in your example are called "barn doors" and they aren't actually being used in that particular case.
The second effect is that the cone shaped beam is visible. That means that there is a small amount of smoke, dust, or fog in the air that is scattering some of the light.
The pattern from the rechargeable flashlight/spotlight won't be as even and the edges won't be as well defined.

I think that wouldn't be as clear as you'd want it, since I can imagine it fading. But I definitely believe that it would be sufficient.
