Propane Flow problem with the colman Fold'N'Go Stove? I bought a Colman Stove (Fold'N'Go 2 burners), last year. This year I tried to use it in a camping trip, and only one burner would give some low flame, even at maximum. When I tried to open the two burners, the flame would go off. At the end of the camping trip, I started to be able to light the other burner, we could feel the heat, but we could not see the flame. Certainly not enough heat to be able to cook anything on that. Anyone has seen this problem? Anyone has been able to fix this problem? Sounds like a dirty regulator or somewhere in the plumbing. Bugs crawl in the piping when left alone for long periods like any BBQ. Clean it all out really good check for leaks as well.
Are Colman Stoves water proof? I have a Colman stove that has been setting in my back yard for a month. It got wet and I'm going camping this week. I would like to use it but I have not test it out yet.Is it possible that the stove will work or am I wasting my time and should buy another one? Any knows? Why not just start it? It will take all of 2 minutes and you dont want to be messing with fixing a stove in the backcountry. How it will be affected by rain depends on what type of stove it is, not just the brand. For the most part, the biggest issues may be getting water in the lines, corrosion of the auto-igniter (if it has one), and rust. Some stoves are more complex than others, and thus more likely to have issues. The only way is to try to start it. Work on drying it out thoroughly, carefully remove any surface rust, clean the port where the fuel source attaches, and give it a shot.
If you've been to camp colman, and you know what Goop is, help!?!? Ok, so you know how at camp colman they have a food called "Goop" once a week? Its like brown sugar stuff that you put on your french toast. Anyways- I really need to know how to make it. Someone told me theres probably butter, sugar, brown sugar, and ya. I know theres probably more ingredients. If you dont know exactly, give me sumthing thats similar pleaseee! Thank youuu!

• 1 cup flour
• ½ cup chopped nuts
• ½ cup (1 stick) margarine or butter
• 1 (8-ounce) bar cream cheese
• 1 cup confectioners' sugar
• 1 cup frozen, defrosted whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
• 2 (4-serving size) boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
• 3 cups milk
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, nuts and margarine with a fork or pulse in food processor. Press into a 9-by-13-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes. Cool. Beat cream cheese with sugar, then mix in whipped topping. Spread on top of first layer.
Mix both packages of pudding with the milk. Pour on top of second layer. Top with additional whipped topping as desired. Chill at least 8 hours before cutting into squares. Makes 18 servings.
Need a good sturdy water proof tent. What is a good brand? Camping at Talledage speedway at the end of April. I'm looking for a good cheap ($150) tent to buy. My last one was to big. And It stayed cold inside. It was a colman 2 room with screen room, about 5 ft tall, I need a sturdy, warm/cool, dry tent for 2 adults plus gear. need one that wont rip easy like my last one.
A big tent will be harder to warm up from body heat. A small tent will not have much room. A tent that stays cool will be hard to keep warm. A low-end tent might have a hard time meeting all your requirements.
I've shopped often at Campmor's and Cabela's. Campor has a lot of good deals; a lot of their stuff is surplus/overstock/leftovers, but still name brand or good stuff. Cabela's is a good all around supplier; plenty of stuff, reasonable prices.
My interest in tents is 3-season backpacking ones, so I'm more interested in a light compromise tent than a car-camping family tent.

looking for the best waterproof/windproof resistent tent? went camping in Hokido, Japan and a typhoon was on my tail going there. Once there, it hit and alot of tents got crushed or ripped out of the ground or flooded which meant not useable. My tent was a colman and it didn't blow away but the outer shell hit the iner shell and water started to drip in and the floor was already wet. I want a tent that will take anything that is thrown at it but with some space.
