How Do U Start a Stunt & Racing Motorcycle Crew?? i know some people with motorcycles, ive seen the shows, i can pop a wheelie and i can do a stoppee, this guy taught me, am only 15, i wanna call my crew NightRiderZ, My First Bike Is gonna Be Gixxer, My friend has An R1, and he knows lots of people with bikes, & I knw his guy in my neighborhood that can pull off any stunt he rides a 2005 honda Cbr 1000 and A self Customized 2005 kawasaka Ninja 12r, So people is not the problem, my colorz are black And silver, i gotta other Name and ideas, so If theres already a crew called nightRiderz, we gon change it, me & my freinds already talked about it. am the only one whos 15,they are older than me, but we got a sponsor, my friends dad co owns some custom bike part company & he could get yoshimura to sponsor us,cuz my friend with the R1 & has a yoshimura exhuast and his Dad Has A 2007 suzuki gixxer 1000 with a yoshimura on it. I always had interest in cars and anything with an engine, so Thats my story but i need some advice to help me finish When i Say Stunt & racing means we going to do both of them i can ride, but i need to get better @ tricks, good thing about me is i learn quick, am not scared to try anything, when i get my 600cc gixxer i will practice wit it, till the tires burn out and i luv speed and i got good reflexxes and hand eyes cordination, so they aint gonna be able to see me, and nna have a 240 hp tuned Up Gixxer 1000 when i get good, am talkin about Custom Twin Side Exhuast, New Turbo system, new pistons, evrything tuned, No one gon see me, i got determination, am not going to overlook no one, After every race I win am gon say " Show me My Opponent" If you want to start one, it will take a whole lot of money and more than one sponsor. You will find, like Yosh, that there are many sponsors willing to give you stuff at a discount rate. However, racing takes a lot of money besides, and that is hard to come by.
Secondly, how good are you? Lots of people compete a fewer win, but everyone but the one winner overestimates themselves. Riding a wheelie is not that hard, nor is a stoppie. Most pro racers could do that and more at age 8.
Racing is not easy and is totally different than stunt riding. Racing takes dicipline, a really fast bike (not a stocker with a pipe), a knowledge of tracks, tire compounds, racing gas types, and so on and so on. Trick riding just takes time.
To really get to the meat of your question, if you think your crew has what it takes, you should try to get a gig stunt riding at a monster truck show, drag race, or anywhere you have seen shows. Just have someone else (no one will take a 15 year old seriously) contact the booking agent and see if you can do a side show. You might have to audition, and you might need to send in a tape of your stunt riding. With no documentable experience, don't aim too high at first, but don't be afraid to shoot the stars once you get going.
Racing just means finding a sanctioning body and entering whatever class you feel you can race in. I would suggest the 650s because I can tell you as a fact the 1000s will chew up and spit out any newbie.

Does anyone know if a 1989 Honda Hurricane 1000 front forks and triple tree will fit on a? 1993 CBR HONDA 900 RR? I think I may have a good deal on my bike parts. Tricked Out Customs Steve Kehler? Has anyone been ripped off by Tricked Out Customs Steve Kehler? Well I have. Tricked Out Customs Is A Joke I don't get what tricked out dosen't understand?????? I knew exactly what I wanted. I simply wanted a KICKSTAND TO FIT MY CBR 1000!! They advertised that that they have such a product and when I tried to install it at Honda, not only did my bike lean so far over that it almost tipped but it was also sutting the engine off when I tried to ride!!! So I don't understand?????? How did I not do my part as a consumer???? Tricked out is sooooo defensive and trying to come up with excuses as to why I AM SO WRONG INSTEAD OF JUST PROVIDING GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I tried to call their company that day and no answer so hence I wrote an email. Why does it matter if I wrote an email or called???? I did my part and to top it all off I was contacted with a MAJOR ATTITUDE IN REGARDS TO MY EMAIL. I GUESS THE MINIMAL PUBLICITY THAT TRICKED OUT MAY BE GETTING THESE DAYS IS GOING TO THEIR HEADS. Yea I know this company treats there customers poorly. They like to treated people. They post parts that don't fit I ran in to the same problem. Like you say thay are very tricky, then tricked out. This guy Steve thinks he is a tough guy. Relax buddy treat your customer right tricked out customs are not a repetable company, go to opp they are for real. Good luck with this mess my friend what comes around goes around. This guy wont be in business to much longer, I hope he is a good family man because his work ethic are a joke like his company. kawi 220 rouser or honda cbr 150? here in the philippines big bikes arent readily available. And parts are harder to find. Most bikes are 200 cc or less. Which of the 2 bikes I listed would be the better deal, most fun and most reliable. I have a 1000 suzuki stateside but the cost of getting it here is prohibitivly expensive. The honda has a 6 sp and fuel injection but cost 500 more. The dealer sells both bikes and tells me the honda is a better bike. Believe its made in thailand now. The kawi is popular with the locals,who gut the muffler so they can pretend they have a big bike plus its more in their budget. Your pick please?.

1989 Honda CBR 1000 F Hurricane Not Working? I just bought a 1987 Honda CBR 1000F Hurricane last week but it had problems the very same day I got it. It was working fine before i dropped it :) But the lights and everything used to still work after that, it was just a problem with the engine starting. I tried jumping it with my car and it worked a few times until I stalled, but now it just doesnt (ever since i accidentally reversed the + and - wires on my bikes battery while jumping). It doesnt even show any lights any more, not even any LED's when I turn the key. Nothing at all. Its completely dead. But I've checked the fuse box 3 times and all the fuses are still intact from what I observed. I've been reading on some web forums that others with this problem were told to check their 50 amp thingamabob and/or the main fuse. I know where the fuse box is, but have no clue where the main fuse is located. someone with an 08 CBR 1000 said they found it under the seat, but I see nothing. I tried push-starting it but no luck. And yes, the kill-switch is flipped to run. Just yesterday a friend came over to check it out and he bypassed the battery by hooking jumper cables to just the leads of the bike that connect to the battery and tried jumping. Still no luck. This shows that it actually may not be a battery problem. Returning the bike is not an option. And i have no money left to bring it to a bike shop. The battery is relatively new. How should I diagnose this problem and fix it? I'm new to automotives so please dont say "check the alternator" or something because I have no idea where that is. Tell me where i can find all these parts please. Thank you all in advance sorry about the year, its actually 1987 Spend the time to remove the battery.

Can I get out of a speeding ticket because the VIN is wrong on the ticket? I received a speeding ticket (75 in a 45) on a service road with nobody around me. Anyhow, since I was riding a new 2008 Honda CBR 1000, the officer decided to lay it all on me. Two days prior I guess some "kid" on another fast liter bike ran from him. When he issued the ticket, he put down part of a VIN on the ticket since I have temporary tags. The partial VIN he entered is no where close to being correct. Only 2 numbers match of the 6 he entered. I feel as though I cannot plead guilty to the ticket as issued because of this incorrect information. What should I do? Pay the ticket. Such a minor error would not invalidate the fact that it was you, not someone else, who was given the ticket. If your name, Date of Birth, and address are correct how could you say it wasn't you who was charged? Contrary to what many folks in this YA category will tell you, a minor mistake makes no difference. If the mistake leads the judge to give you the benefit of reasonable doubt and say that it might not have been you who got the ticket it could be thrown out. That would be when you plead not guilty, swear under oath that you are not the person who was issued the ticket, show that the officer had the wrong name ('Johnson' instead of 'Jones') or wrong date of birth (1972 instead of 1992) or the wrong street ('Main St. West' instead of 'Main Street East'), or any other major factor. Are you willing to swear under oath that you are not the person who received the ticket (and take a chance on being charged with perjury and going to jail) plus pointing out that your identification details do not match what is written on the ticket, then you may have a chance of getting away with it. I need to find a cable for my motorcycle.? Where can i find a return throttle cable for my 1988 honda cbr 1000 hurricane? I've tryed going threw the dealership but the part has been discontinued. Please can anyone help me? Ebay...or a bike salvage yard, craigslist maybe here:

Where to find the cheapest OEM parts? Looking for both major and minor parts for a 2008 CBR 1000 RR. I use "bikebandit.com" alot but they don't have things like the radiator. Not to be picky or anything but please don't tell me to call the Honda shop... their stuff is marked up like 3000 percent. Thanxs! 1989 and 1988 Honda cbr 600, good buy? $1050 2 bikes? baught 88 89 honda cbr 600 hurricane, ok, dunno what is what. 1 bike claimed had no problems! had 90% plastic that needed painted, runs good nice power, was little wet when test driven it. (just misted). load up buddy drives bike home, clutch slips. missing 2 plastic pieces non working tail light, ghetto lights hooked up, stock light in a box he gave me. ohh also small rattle by engine, but only at first, warmed up no noise? a little sluggish after keeping stedy speed. and maybe more. title says 14k miles, the running complete bike has 12k miles. bike 2, aka parts bike. 20k miles, no plastic, fuel pump bad im sure they took off for other bike, rusty tank hole, carbs just sitting there, cables unhooked seem to be there, good gauges clean looking. he used start fluid to start it, sounded good no rattle noise from bottom end, smokes me out with white smoke? claims it b/c of start fluid, both bikes have pipes i think 1 is yoshi. forks look good on part bike and rear. seat good no gas capno head light. prolly no tail light either they wanted 1000 and 800 for part bilke i got for $1050 did i make a mistake buying these for my first bike?? most bikes i seen for sale that was under 1000 didnt run You get what you pay for.
If your a hand man then getting one running should be no problem. If you have absolute no idea how to fix things then you may have put your self in trouble.
