What is Better a "White Led" Light Bulb shining Through a Red Lens Cap Or a "Red LED" Light through a red lens If anybody who had experience with this subject please respond!!! Thanks in advance!! Better for what, seeing it or being too bright to see anything else, for driving, or reading? I've worked with led's for as long as they have been around, I just don't know what you want to know.

my LED on my digital cap doesnt turn on? i charged my cap when i charge it the LED doesnt display and the only time my battery keeps its charge is when im driving please help? did use the remote wire from the amplifier to the tiny screw on the CAP, if you did that it should be turning on, otherwise nothing is going to show. just used a speaker wire and hook up from the amplifier remote to the tiny screw. should be showing the Digital display, learned from one of my friend, I used to run 2 caps both cap doesn't work, I talked to my friend he told me I don't need to run to cap just waste the battery energy, all I need is one cap and use a speaker wire from the cap to the amp remote wire is good. If you running high power don't need cap at 2nd battery.

can i just put a cap inline with an led for the led to stay lit for say 20 sec after power is cut? Hi , i need to make an led light for around 20 secs after power is cut . can i just put a capacitor inline with the led? charge time may be an issue, the only thing i hav to trigger this circuit is a 1 second pulse from a relay. ok ,,more details... the system is basically an led light that lights up on the door handle of a car for about 20 seconds once the car alarm is disarmed,, the only way i thought to do this was to use the neg pulse from the alarms central locking output up to another relay, obviously the problem i am having is how can i make the l.e.d stay lit for a period of time? if i just have the output straight from a relay the led will merely flash once while it has the 0.8 second pulse. i have never used capactiors or transistors before and im trying to learn all i can as it seems this may be the only way i can achieve the desired affect? ok thanks, i have come across the 555 chip idea a few times on my research tonight,, i guess the 8 pins on the chip daunt me somewhat ,, but its something i will have to learn by staring at example diagrams and schematics untill i understand it. ive come across the term "RC" alot tonight, but have not found an explanation of what that means?? Hp dv5...Black screen, cap lock, and num lock LED flashing....CPU Failure? I was working on my laptop earlier and the mouse began to freeze on me. I restarted the computer and upon restarting the screen turned black and the caps lock and num lock LED lights began to flash. I looked this up on the HP site and it says ONE flash means CPU failure..... I know my laptop fan had been acting up the past few weeks(like a flipping noise inside) although it was not over heating. Could this have something to do with it? And what should I do at this point?

cap lock led? ok so my new HP pavillion dv6000 cap lock button works and says its on and off on the screen but no light. my dad bought the same comp the same day and his lights up. mine used to but doenst any more and it just says it on the screen. and the same with my number lock button. why would his light up and not say "ON" on the screen like mine does but mine will not light up his does not say "cap lock on" or "off" on the screen but the light will turn on and off... mine only says on and off...i dont see how it could burn out after such a short time and i never used number lock at all..

Are tire valve caps with LED lights legal? I found those tire valve caps which apparently light up when the vehicle is in motion...are those legal? Also, how good are those? does anyone know? how long do they last? Those are super gay. don't get them unless you like being made fun of.

What would the simplest way to do this be? (I'm not very familiar with building complex circuits). Ok so i swallowed a led pencil cap, those that cover the erasers, is that so bad?? o_O No. If you didn't choke with it going down, it will just make the trip through the system and exit in a couple days time. If it helps any, there isn't lead in pencils. It's graphite, and it won't hurt you at all. You can watch out for the exiting offender, or simply trust your body- your call. It will go through, it's too small to hang up anywhere. And your stomach acid is going to do a number on it as well.
