Mailing to Iraq On top of everything I already have does any one have suggestions on what else to put in there? A good friend of mine and my best friends boy friend was deployed to Iraq the day after Christmas me and her are putting together a rather large box of things to send to him. On top of what I already have do you guys have any other suggestions that maybe I haven't thought of. So Far I have *4 decks of cards *A paddle ball thing (the paddle with the rubber ball attached) *Bars of soap (two different kinds) *Hand sanitizer (3 different kinds of the liquid and one pack of hand sanitizing wipes) *Shave Gel *Wet ones wipes *2 things of baby wipes *A coloring book *2 word find books *some granola trail mix * Travel tissue packs *lots of hard candy *pop rocks *a foam football *checkers *texas hold em' *q-tips *emory boards *A crank flashlight *Dunkin Donuts coffee *assorted gum *lysol disinfecting spray *Cards and letters from the day care I use to work at *phone cards * I also snuck in a couple of cards to send to his girlfriend ***Any suggestions will do, and are much appreciated***** ****Thank you in Advance for your time**** **I will be going to BJ's tomorrow to purchase some bulk Items also so is there any thing I should by in bulk other then coffee? I would send my husband and friends pictures of myself or pictures of his friends at home. Also, if you can bake like sugar cookies (no chocolate) and put them in right before you send them they will still be good. I don't know if they are into this, but my husband would have me send like 10 sudoku books because all of the guys loved sudoku. Maybe even some manly lotion. The air is super dry out there. Oh and you could probably send like those individual gatorade or kool-aid packets. You know the ones that you can pour into a water bottle and shake 'em up. Beef jerky is a huge hit too! Also, maybe DVD's. I know at Wal-Mart here you can get some pretty good names of DVD's for five dollars.
The flat rate boxes are pretty good sized, medium sized I guess. Its hard to describe. Can anyone help me find some bulk freebies for goodie bags for an event? My running group is having a weekend retreat with camping and tubing down a river. I am trying to assemble about 50 goodie bags for registration giveaways, and I am looking for promotional merchandise that I can get for free to include in the bags. I need it to be completely free without hassle, appropriate to an outdoor camping retreat for adults (childish adults to be sure, but adults nonetheless), and I can't fill out individual forms for each one of the quantity of 50. Some ideas I had were: disposable flashlights or glowsticks whistles plastic shot glasses beer can coozies lanyards bandannas branded personal hygiene items (like soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, bug spray, combs, brushes, deodorant) sure, fine, toys! even adults like toys. anything else you can offer that would work Any legitimate help would be appreciated. I am, of course, seeking merchandise that is branded by companies seeking to advertise to my group's members. This is an opportunity to advertise to a group of individuals who are relaxing in the wilderness, away from other sources of advertisement! No answers? Disappointing. :( As you said, you are seeking merchandise for a specific group that would be a great opportunity to advertise to for the right company...so the answer is to find the right businesses in your area and tell them about the event and ask for donations. You will want to provide a list of donating businesses in the gift bag to help promote the businesses.
It is just a matter of making a few phone calls to the marketing department of local stores that carry items of interest to your group. You may want to try contacting some companies through the internet that may have an interest in donating to this event. If you have enough time, this could be the most efficient way to get donations. How do I source this LED driver board? I have purchased several of this type of driver board from dealers on the web. But I am getting tired of paying retail price for them. I want to know where to purchase a bulk lot of this type of driver? How do I source this board? The board I am looking for uses a 7135 chipset and is multimode with a high of 2.8 amp. Its likely that these come from Hong Kong, but I am not certain. The 10 points goes to the one who finds me the manufacturer and/or the cheapest bulk lot of them.

Was asbestos ever used in bulk loose fill form as a loft insulation in apartment buildings during the 1960s? I have discovered an insulation underneath the blown in fiberglass that is a gray/brownish color that is underneath the fiberglass. Also, if you shine a flashlight at this insulation you can see tiny straight fibers within the insulation itself. Do any of you contractors, electricians, or diy'ers know whether or not loose fill amosite asbestos was ever used in this form. The only other thing that I can think of that it might be is a rock or slag wool insulation, but I don't think that you can see individual fiber strands within that type of insulation though. The apartment in question was built during the late 1960s if that provides any insight to this question. It is better to be safe than sorry. Sounds like rock wool, but if it is vermiculite it may contain asbestos
