i am looking to buy a brinkmann gas grill.? i am looking to buy my first gas grill,i have always used Charcoal.im not real sure of the brand to buy,i am looking at Brinkmann.any suggestions? sense this is my first gas grill i cant spend a ton of money,but don't want junk..any help appreciated. It would pay off in a long run to buy a Weber. You can find good used ones on Craigslist or other similar type sites. Read reviews! Brinkmann looks pretty but does not hold up. I have a Weber Spirit 2-burner that I have had for 16 years. I am looking to replace it with a Weber Summit 4-burner. They are great grills. Anything other than a Weber, you'll be wasting your money. Anyone have any experience with one? Thanks! This basic unit offers you a full feature gas grill at a discount price (around $200USD). The four burner design gives you lots of versatility in your cooking. With the addition of a side burner you can do virtually anything but rotisserie. This grill is, however, limited in durability thanks to is reliance on low quality materials and lightweight construction. All stainless steel parts, including the tubular burners at 400 series stainless. The knobs and handles are plastic. The "features", like the bottle opener and flip up front panel are more gimmick than gadget. There are certainly better grills out there.

Help with my Brinkmann gas grill? I purchased a grill from walmart Brinkman pro series 7541 (something like that) and it came with a AA Battery to put in as the ignitor but I read the directions and am looking at the manual and have no idea where it goes, does anyone out there have the same grill, or can you help me? Try unscrewing the ignitor button on the front panel.
The battery should slide right in. (+ side pointing out)
Screw the cover on the ignitor. If everything works, pressing the button should produce a spark inside the grill.

my brinkmann 9300 gas grill uses to much propane? i have to refill my propane every month no one bbqs that much i already checked for leaks anyone else having problem with same brand Try turning off the gas valve on the propane tank when not in use. Sometimes the valves on the bbq might leak slightly when turned off, not enough to smell but enough to cause a leak over time and shorten the life of the tank.

Can I use the charmglow natural gas conversion kit on a Brinkmann 5 burner grill (model 810-9520-S).? The grill is natural gas convertabile but my model number is not specified on the box of the conversion kit. I can't figure out what orifice size goes on the side burner. The one on it right now that is set up for propane has a number 59 on it, I dunno what that means, is that a size? Please help. Brinkmann and Charmglow are both made by the same company.
Remove the orifice and take it to a grill store, garden supply, etc. Tell them you want a natural gas orifice to replace the lp orifice.

about my brinkmann gas grill. I have a new propane (tested and working) tank, i turn the gas on, and it goes f? it works for about 5 seconds then dies off. Thinking it is the regulator, but do not know how to test it or fix it. Any ideas? Further detail: I very slowly turned on the gas after waiting 5 seconds. Still no air flow. I don't think it is the gas tank but something to do with the burners or the regulator (whatever it is) on the line. Any further ideas? Thank you. Propane Cylinders have an excess flow valve built into the service valve that is there to sense if the hose is cut or ruptures. If it senses fuel flowing too quickly, it severely restricts the flow of gas.
It sounds like you may have opened the cylinder valve too quickly or had the appliance controls turned on high before you opened the cylinder valve.
Make sure the controls on the appliance are off. Then disconnect and reconnect the cylinder. Open the cylinder valve very slowly and only crack it slightly open. Wait 5 seconds and then open the valve all the way. Light the appliance and it should operate properly...
By the way...There are no thermocouples on a grill.
Edit: The next step in diagnosing this requires a bit of technical sense. If you aren't comfortable with trying what I describe here, ask someone who has done it before to assist you.
You need to remove the cooking grids etc and get down to where the burner is. remove the burner and inspect it carefully for plugged burner holes, cracks or holes from corrosion. Use a wirebrush to clean up the burner and a paperclip to poke through all of the burner holes and make sure they are clear. The venturi tubes that lead to the burner are a favorite spot for spiders to nest. Since the gas pressure flowing through these tubes is very low, it doesn't take much restriction to block them. Use a piece of wire (not too rigid like a coat hanger) or you can actually buy a brush specifically for this, and push it up the venturi tubes all the way into the burner. Look at it carefully when you pull it back out and see if there is traces of a web on the tip. Hopefully that is it! If you can, blow out the burner with compressed air and reassemble the unit. Make sure the venturi tubes go back over the orifices properly! Then test fire the unit.
Grills are a pretty simple device, so if that doesn't correct the issue it can really only be a faulty regulator or debris in the controls. Regulators are pretty simple to replace and not expensive.

I just bought a Brinkmann 9300 series gas grill and the igniter wont work? The manual says it needs a AA battery but I have no idea where it goes. help please! follow the wires that come from the igniter
they probably go under the grill near where the gas bottle is, that's where mine is and all the wires should go into a little box thing, that's where the battery's go, or at least that's where they go on mine
