Poll; what do you normally do when? when you are driving your car/bike on the road and your hear a loud siren from your back it's an ambulance, going really fast What do you do then 1. move aside and give way to the ambulance 2. don't move, you just drive like you don't care 3. move aside and give way to the ambulance then drive fast behind that ambulance :D 4. other Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk So far, I dint find myself in such a situation!! :P
But if it happens, of course I would move aside and give way to ambulance! After all, its humanity, you see!! :P
If I dont move and drive just like I dont care, then, I'll have to find myself in the ambulance soon, because the ambulance driver will lose his cool and he'll hit me in turn.. LOL.. which I never want to face!! :P So its better for me to give way to the ambulance!! :P

Do you like thunder storms? ******PLEASE READ********* Love them •__• I love when we have severe thunder storms.We have a sun roommand watch from in there.Now if you dog pepole answers this.are any of your dog scared of t-storms?(or peoples dog in general )Unfountely my cat is,she was never scared of thunder storms.The story I'm about to tell is why my cat Is scared of thunder storms. on 7/22/10 all the local news channels said there was very high risk of severe t-storms. So in the morning it just start off as raining(I forgot to mention I live se Wisconsin) normal for where i live.Then it cleared up for about three hours,which I though it was going to be nice so I took a walk and rode my bike. Then I went inside.I then went to play the wii.Then my cousin came down an said there was a tornado warning for dodge county, which is above us so I didn't worry that much.Then around it start to get dark I went up stairs to see why.it was greenish(which means hail).We went outside to watch the storm at first it was just a little windy.It just got winder and winder.At first we had a severe t-storm watch and flood warning,then it was upgrade to tornado watch and flash flood watch.A severe t-storm was issued,small hail began to fall and got very windy.Then tornado sirens went off your neighbors were outside and they came in.So we watch tmj4. then a tornado warning was issued for germeantown (right above us).Golf ball sized hail began to fall and there were down burst. there was a tornado warning for us.We got my cats cage her food and water bowl some of her toys and her food.We got some food and water and blankets my cell phone my parents money my computer.Then the siren went off, it was lighting like crazy.My cat was terrified,So we gave her cat calming pills.After the storm it was big mess In all there were 11 tornado. Part of your story in inaccurate. There were no EF3 tornadoes in Wisconsin during 2010.

Would you consider me crazy? Well mental is the term that ppl my age use... I do not consider myself crazy, probably just paranoid but still 1. I am very afraid of mirrors, the myth Bloody Mary, and i consider mirrors "portals" to another world. When I was younger (before i even understood who or what Bloody Mary was) I was running past our bathroom and i thought i saw my sister in the mirror. I kept running and asked my aunt (who was babysitting me) why my sister was still home. She told me that my sister left for work about 3 hours before. I ran back to the bathroom and whatever was in the mirror was gone. And then my outlook on it. A mirror is a flat surface, yes? So if someone is standing in front of a mirror and you look at the edge on an angle, you should be able to see the person or at least some part of them. But you can not. Think of looking at a painting. If you look at it edge on, then you can see the colors because it is a flat surface. Does anyone have an explanation for this? And then if you really angle yourself correctly with a mirror, then you ccn see something that is say, on a book shelf. That should not be able to reflect! And then if theres a person who needs glasses for distance, why cant they see something perfectly in a mirror? It is a flat surface! the mirror is right in front of them but they still can not see the object properly. Any explanations for this? 2. I still have my imaginary friends, who to me, aren't so imaginary. I can feel their presence but i usually cant see them. They seem to be able to protect me if i ask them to... they can help things happen or not happen, and they seemed to come with their own story..I have my own ametuer book series and i write about them all the time, including the story they came with. The two middle children (there are 4 friends in total and they came together) who are about 13 and 14 are the ones that come bike riding and hang around with me while the oldest, 27, is the one who keeps me on task, helps me study. I can practically hear their voices in my head and i sometimes talk to them out loud and they talk back using my voice out loud. I have had them for 8 years now and they seem to age with me. They came up with their own "omens" and if i see any of the omens they gave me 3 times, then something bad will happen. Their "omens" are pregnant ppl, someone holing up two fingers, a handicapped person, tires screeching, and police sirens. Things that you would usually overlook. People find me odd for that. 3. People also would find my dreams odd. Sometimes i will stop breathing altogether in a dream and sometimes i can see things that havent happened yet. I kick in my sleep and most of the time i dream of mirrors. i will see a girl behind me and she has long blak hair and a plain white dress and i will tyy to run but i am going in slow motion or cant move. And i sometimes have exactly the same dream a couple times. I also can hear my imaginaries in my dreams but cant see them. What do any of you get out of this? If i am in some way mental, then i wouldnt deny it because i know a person can be mental and not know it, I could be just a bit too paranoid, just a bit too creative maybe. What are your opinions? Is this legal/ My experiences? I'm 15 years old and usually cycle on the pavements. One day I thought I will go on the road. In the 300m of nearly straight road that I lawfully cycled on, I was within about 3 inches of 2 car mirrors and if I didn't have a very, very loud air horn on my bike i would have smashed into a car which was pulling out of an adjoining road without even looking. I blasted my air horn at the car which then slammed its brakes on . I was about 5 meters from the car and I was travelling about 20 MPH. From his open window the driver was hurling abuse at me. Although his voice was drowned out by my air horn. I could still tell that he said F$%* you by his two fingers that he stuck up at me. With his other hand he was signalling as though I should have stopped and given way to him. I pointed to the stop-sign that he sempt oblivious to. When I reached the bottom of the road at the traffic lights which were red I politely confronted the guy (who had since overtaken me very closely) about his abuse. Even though i was polite all i got back was an uncalled for "What the F*%$ do you think you are doing you stupid little T&£*" I mean come on "little" from a guy who could barely see over the steering wheel against me 5' 7" tall. When the lights went to green the guy sped off leaving me talking to the road where he was. I was so outraged by this that i got the registration number of the car and reported it to the police over the phone this was 4 months ago. I have still got no reply. After this terrifying audial I have returned to cycling on the pavements I do about 20 MPH maximum on the pavement when there is nobody else on it. As soon as I see somebody else in the distance or get near to shops then I rapidly decelerate to a mere 3.0 MPH and I always more than willingly give way to anyone else on the pavement. If I am approaching someone from behind then I do the same, but about 10 meters behind them I sound my siren. I never sound my siren when I'm any closer than 10 meters to pedestrians to avoid making them jump. I then cautiously Proceed past them thanking them as I do. If the space between the pedestrian and the road or wall is not big enough for me to pass through safely then i dismount my bike and walk past them on the edge of the road. thanking them as i do. I will continue to do this until the roads are made a lot more safer for cyclists and until I receive confirmation that my complaint has being followed up. wow, ever heard of paragraphs.

What I can tell you though is that cycling on the pavement IS illegal.
If you ever "sounded your siren" at me then you would likely get more than a mouthful of abuse.

Why do some people like to irritate others..plz help me? my neighbor whole family is irritating me and my parents ..like 1.they just come and kick my car and make it shout i mean the security siren in car or write some bad dirty words with wet hands or drop any waste food on my car. 2.their son always goes to terrace and hit my TV DTH antenna wit a stick and now its started shaking..and go and pluck all leaves out from my plants 3.pork holes in my bike seat orpunchure my wheels...aaaaaaaaaa .............ect ect goes on ...keep on irritating me and my parents i dont know why.. how to react to these people ..i am fed up ...i need a end to this ..i kept quiet for wat all they did for more than 1 year plzzzzzzzz help me ..i need ur suggestion..should i give a complaint to police... yeah i am new to flat ..its my own house i just love styling my 10 year old car...and these people are so jealous that they soil it Its hard to know exactly WHAT to do because depending on WHO they are and WHAT their motive is the 'result' of your action to STOP their ACTIONS could be different! I wouldn't call the police UNTIL you have 'visual or witness' proof. But quite often even with people you wouldn't BELIEVE it would work on, simply 'calling the law' stops the actions. BUT sometimes it makes it even worse and if you are in a very urban environment and dealing with 'druggies' or such IT COULD turn even more violent and dangerous. So I will have to tell you THIS SUGGESTION.
If you don't really KNOW these people and who they are or what they 'are like' then find someone who YOU TRUST and who does. ASK QUESTIONS and tell the person what they have been doing and ask them for THEIR OPINION about 'why' this is happening. Other neighbors OFTEN keep their 'mouths shut' UNTIL they are asked but then are usually ALL TOO WILLING to share information they may have that will give you a good idea of WHO and WHAT you are dealing with. By listening to the 'stories of others' who may have WITNESSED these people do these things BEFORE, you will know a lot 'about what to expect' if you go to the law. Then process the information and ACT on it. BUT REMEMBER...nothing is more important than your life. If there is even a HINT that this 'family' might turn lifetime DEADLY for you, then MOVE or get away! Whatever you do, do NOT ALLOW their bad actions to drive you toward breaking the law and getting YOURSELF into 'hot water.' These types of problems tend to backfire sometimes IF YOU DON'T KEEP A LEVEL HEAD ON YOUR SHOULDERS.
My father use to say that 'using your head' was the best way to WIN in ANY situation. So observe these people, ASK QUESTIONS about them and then 'study' about what to do in a WISE WAY.

An officer pulled his weapon on me after he thought I was running on a motorcycle - and I'm being accused of e? This is my story and exactly how I experienced it. I am not looking for sympathy, just proper guidance on my situation... so obviously in order to do that I have to tell the truth. And I have nothing to prove to you guys.. I just need help because I've never been accused of anything like this before. I have 0 criminal history, never arrested... just minor traffic violations. I was having lunch at the girlfriends house for my break at work when I noticed it was about 3:10PM and I had to be back at 3:20. Work is probably about 15 minutes away. So I immediately leave and jump on the highway to get to work and am moving faster than traffic to make up for time, probably 10-15 miles faster ( I wish I could be sure but I wasn't looking at the speedo). I am using my turn signals and I don't have mirrors on the bike because I primarily use it for competitive racing. So when I change lanes I look over with my tinted visor and make sure the lane is safe, put my signal on and move over. So I'm doing this pretty quick in an almost weaving fashion, but without being reckless or causing people to put there brakes on. Not a hooligan, just some guy trying to make it to work in time and keeping it safe. I keep the racing at the track, obviously, I have a race license. Anyway, so I take my exit and come up to the stop light that's almost right there for me turn. The light is green for the traffic going straight, but I'm sitting behind a few cars waiting for my light to turn green and to make a left turn. That's when, after about 20-30 seconds of sitting there, I hear loud sirens approaching from behind. My first impression was a fire truck or something, maybe an ambulance because it sounded a bit different... and as i was sitting there I was waiting fo rit to pass and it never passed. So I turned around and there's a undercover police officer jumping out of his car, drew his gun on me, and said, "GET OFF THE BIKE NOW!!! GET OFF THE BIKE OR I WILL SHOOT YOU!!". So obviously my thoughts are racing at this point and I'm thinking, was I going over 100mph? There's no way. Then how long was he behind me? How did I not see or hear him? Maybe he just got caught in traffic..... Just all these thoughts going through my head and he tells me to get on the ground put my hands behind my back, etc... and he cuffs me. He immediately asks me why I was running and I said, "Sir, I had no idea you were behind me." He obviously said I was lieng. But anyway, apparantely he was behind me back when I was changing lanes, putting my turn signal on, and he thought I had visually saw or heard him... which I didn't hear him because of my loud exhaust and I didn't see him because I'm wearing a helmet with a tinted visor. So I have extremely limited periphereal vision, not to mention I wasnt not looking behind me I was looking to the next lane over to change lanes. So long story short, cop turns out to be a nice guy, but I'm still being charged with evading, which is a felony.I was released without any time behind bars and no bond. I have to go to a preliminary hearing Monday... and then court is in November. With the cop dead set on thinking I saw him, I'm not sure how he thinks I was running from him. I mean, I could have hit 100+ in less than a couple seconds, and 160+ in less than 5. But I was cruising at 80-85mph and pulled off to go to work. I could have easily just shot up the highway until I couldn't see him anymore, then taken an exit, and pulled into a spot where he couldn't see. I have a racing license to prove I know what I'm doing on the bike, and I plan on bringing my helmet in to show them my limited amount of vision AND the video of my bike on the dyno just a few days before. Anyway, like I said, I've never been to court so any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated in this HUGE mix up. I just hope the Judge doesn't think I actually saw him. Thanks all. Uhh, hotwheel, I brought up my racing background because I could have easily evaded the cop if I had wanted to and if I had known he was behind me. There is no fluff here, read my first paragraph and lighten up. Seriously, I get nothing out of lying to the anonymous public who have no say in the final decision. I'm looking for advice, that's all. I was going 10-15 over, MAX. I admitted to that, and changing lanes too quick for most peoples comfort. So that's why he said he put his lights and siren on. That's fine, I'm guilty of that. But never did I evade him. That's the issue here. You need a lawyer.
You were driving a bike with no mirrors and a tinted helmet while speeding (to some degree or another, you can't say how fast you were going) and weaving in and out of traffic. I am inclined to think that if you were on a bike you use for competition racing, you were likely faster than 10-15 over.
There was a cop behind you with lights and sirens on, and you didn't stop. There's no way to prove if you saw/heard him or not, but the fact is that it is your responsibility to stop when he's behind you, period. It's not his fault that you didn't have mirrors and were on a loud bike with a tinted helmet... From his perspective, it looked like evasion and that's what you got charged with.
You need a lawyer, because with these facts it is likely you'll get convicted. A plea bargain to a misdemeanor charge is probably going to be your best bet.

Can you fight a Felony evading conviction after the judge gives you a plea bargin? I was riding my sports bike motorcycle on the 405fwy one sunday mornning and i was speeding at speeds up to 85mph, a CHP officer was chasing me and i didn't even know he was back there, he said it took me 2 or 3 miles before i pulled over, he said his lights and siren was on, which i didn't see or hear him at the speeds i was going, when he pulled me over, he cuff me and told me i was going to jail for felony evading an chp officer, i explain to him i didn't know he was chasing me and he didn't want to listen, i stayed in jail for 10 days before i could see the judge, then when i went to court, the judge wouldn't let me talk or defend myself, only the public defender spoke, the judge gave me a plea bargin for 5 years formal pobation and 120 days of comunity service, i thought that was a bit harsh for someone, that never been to jail and wasn't guilty of evading, only speeding! i told the public defender everything what happen and she only told the judge half my story on what happen that day, so i was wondering, if i can still fight this case and get the felony changed to atleast a misdemeanor?
