FAQ about Big Ed Rapper

Really? Do white people honestly wonder why we black men are so pissed off at them all the time? Are you guys really that naive? We have the least amount of resources to succeed. Treated like sh@t when we are piss poor broke, but when we are a famous rapper/athlete, we become divas that don’t deserve that money to the white media. Or if we enter a higher income/status job field you think the only reason we are even there is b/c of affirmative action and that we deserve to be janitors, regardless of educational requirements. Any one of us that listens to rap/hiphop is a criminal, except if you listen to eminem. I’ll just tell you my experience, just to start off I don't wear skinny jeans or Aero87/Ed Hardy shirts, but apparently if I don't I am automatically labeled a criminal by white people standards. I wear my jeans a little baggy but are fitted, Tee's or collard shirts, and maybe a fitted hat. Didn’t know that was gangsta. My white friends have a similar style and even admit they don't even go through all the bullshit I have to in a day, so maybe it isn’t my attire. Let's start off putting yourself in my shoes going to a predominately white cornerstore/CVS whatever. As soon as I walk in i get the familiar “Ni99a what are you up to" stares. I get my stuff and go check out. But have to wait an extra 15 minutes as I am ignored for every white person behind me. I guess they want me to wait so Loss prevention can scope me out to see if im trying something slick. I finally get to the register with a clerk giving me the ole “stare” again I hand her the items and as soon as I talk her whole attitude changes. Her eyes are lit up, surprised at the fact I could speak proper English. I'm not kidding I was actually told by a white female clerk one time that they were surprised I spoke English so well for a black guy. I guess since im big and black she must think I only like football and have the IQ of a shovel. Oh it gets better I whip out my debt card and she almost faints, like she was surprised I would own a debt card. I guess white people are surprised black men can actually have bank accounts too. I mean I don’t act any different in black or Hispanic stores and never had to go through this BS. Alright let's get on to the clubscene of being a black man. Let's just start off at the club entrance with the bouncer. We have to bring spare steve urkel outfits in are cars b/c we don’t know if wearing skinny jeans and a goofy Ed Hardy shirt is ungangsta enough for you guys. (I admit I usually don’t get this BS from bouncers since I am usually their size or bigger, but for the average size black man I see this BS all the time) If we’re lucky enough to make it in the club, we’ll stand out like a sore thumb as you see only 5 other brothas max. Im not the clubbing type but at least try and have a good time, with you all. Let’s go to girl 1 Black man: Hey how u doin White girl: Please don’t rape me Black man: WTF? Lol Ur joking rite? White girl: (switches to mtv ebonics accent) Oh wuts up dogg Black man: (akward look) nothing much how bout you White girl: (Scared look) I have to go now Then she leaves. I saw her hand trembling as soon as I approached. I guess every black guy on earth is a ww thirsting rapist as well. Then after 6 other incidents like that one, we give up and stand around like a typical tolken black dude, with you guys looking at us in the club wondering why we aren’t vibing with you and ready to leave asap. Gee I mean being 1 of 5 black dudes looking like steve urkel and only getting approached by fat ugly white women, you guys must think a black man must be in heaven huh? Then when we leave to go to our cars and you white women give us the ole glances, like where scheming to rape you while we're wearing a goofy @ss steve urkel outfit just to get in your club. What's funny is when we actually vent out the bs you guys give us you assume we play the race card. Now I know why I mostly hang out with blacks/latinos. C’mon really, and you wonder why you see angry looking black men all the time? I mean you can’t be that oblivious about how you treat us, can you? Of course not all white people are like that, but these incidents have happened so many times, I have to assume it’s a high percentage. It's sad b/c the white people that are nothing like that will encounter the mean black guy who is only gonna assume that white person is just like the others from his bad experiences. Seriously, do you guys sit on your @sses watching Law and Order and assume every black man u see outside is the criminal on tv? I can understand why some people might feel angry towards white people, but there is absolutely no logic behind being angry at EVERY white person. The world is not as black and white as a lot of people seem to believe, we are all individuals at the end of the day.

There are some good hip hop songs after 97' but not as intense as earler years. ^^^ earlier I was brought up on old skool and still consider it to be the "classical" and "the primo" of rap & hip hop....it's a great list and would be a great CD to have in the car for a long ride.
Peace, Love & Happiness

Who will knock Lil Wayne off? If your going to comment and say how you love lil wayne please dont. I wanna know who is going to rightfully knock the clown Lil Wayne off the hottest rapper seat, a position which he dosnt deserve. Wayne is destroying hiphop, making it into a joke. I agree with Nas and Ed Lover and Doctor Dre who say that Hip Hop died with Big L in 2000. Every song i hear is worse than the previous. Biggie was the first to rap of money, girls and cars. And he should have been the last. Im tired of hearing all that from the punk Lil Wayne, who at 24, looks like he can still be in grade school. So, who do you tihnk shoul be the one to make everyone realize how bad Lil Wayne is? Im guessing the Game, idk if Eminem would come back to do it, but it seems like the truly good rappers agree that Wayne is a horrible rapper, and his lyrics speak for himself. I guess im saying that i miss the days of 2pac and Rakim. But i think a rapper needs to come and bring hiphop back to where it should be. who do you think? FÛCK U MAN!!!!!
EVERY BODY KNOWS LIl WAYNE'S
THE BEST RAPPER ALIVE
NO ONE CAN TAKE HIM DOWN
CAUSE HE GO SO HARD
SOO WHOOP!!!

Pimp C's cause of death if anyone wants to know.? An over-the-counter drug, along with a pre-existing health condition, led to Texas-based rapper Pimp C's death, according to an official with Los Angeles County Department of Coroner. Los Angeles County Asst. Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Promethazine/Codeine syrup and sleep apnea contributed to the death of Chad Butler, known in the rap world as Pimp C. Promethazine/Codeine, a cough syrup, is a drug that is frequently referred to in music lyrics. Winter said Butler's death has been ruled an accident. Butler was found dead in a room at Los Angeles' Mondrian Hotel, a longtime music industry hangout not far from the House of Blues on Sunset Strip, where he had performed Dec. 1 alongside rap veteran Too $hort. Pimp C and partner Bun B were pioneers of Southern rap and hit the mainstream with their cameo on Jay-Z's hit "Big Pimpin'." UGK, along with Geto Boys, are considered to be one of the people responsible for introducing Texas as the "third coast" of hip-hop. The duo's career was derailed when Butler was jailed for three years in 2002 on gun charges. He released an album while in prison and this year the group made a comeback with the critically acclaimed album "Underground Kingz," which included the hit "Int'l Player's Anthem (I Choose You)," featuring OutKast. RIP PIMP C!!!!! Sadly I had a feeling that was gonna be the cause....Stop sippin' the lean ppl!!!!
