The Hangover Unrated Blu-ray Dvd DiscThe Hangover Unrated Blu-ray Dvd DiscBy all rights, THE HANGOVER should have been a minor success that did satisfactory box office and lived on through beer-laden guys night viewings. The marquee boasts no big-name stars, and the premise--an alcohol-soaked bachelor party--seems tried and tired. But OLD SCHOOL director Todd Phillipss boys-night-out comedy is a blockbuster revelation that revels in raunchy jokes and happily leaves the border of propriety behind. Groom-to-be Doug (Justin Bartha, NATIONAL TREASURE) has planned an epic night in Las Vegas with his two best friends, Phil (Bradley Cooper, YES MAN) and Stu (Ed Helms, THE OFFICE), and his fiancée's awkward brother, Alan (comedian Zach Galifianakis). But it turns out that they partied a little too hard: Phil, Stu, and Alan wake up the next morning with a missing groom, a tiger in the hotel-room bathroom, a baby in the closet, and no memory of the night before. Though the funny script glories in the gutter, the credit for most of the films laughs goes to the excellent cast. Phillipss OL$19.49

Phillips's OLD SCHOOL had Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, and Luke Wilson, but even though THE HANGOVER's cast members aren't A-listers (yet), they're just as talented. Cooper and Helms have gotten laughs in WEDDING CRASHERS and THE OFFICE, respectively, but the perfectly awkward Galifianakis is a hilarious surprise. THE HANGOVER is sure to please everyone in the audience, except the easily offended who will cringe from the film's foul first moments to its over-the-top closing credits.$17.99

It is a RARE vintage ORIGINALitem direct from the Hal Roach Studios, Hollywood California. This Photo was used to promote the1936 comedy film short,Kelly the Second Director:Gus MeinsWritten by Jefferson Moffitt & William H. Terhune Produced by Hal Roach, Kelly the Second is one of the few feature films to capture the comic spirit of Roach's wonderful two-reelers. Patsy Kelly stars as Molly Kelly, who as the result of an unexpected street brawl becomes the trainer of truck-driver-turned-prizefighter Cecil Callahan (Guinn "Big Boy" Williams). It seems that Cecil is a gentle soul who turns into a fighting fool whenever he hears the strains of "The Irish Washerwoman." Molly talks her boss, druggist Doc Klum (Charley Chase), into financing Cecil's ring career, which gets Doc in dutch with gangsters Ike (Ed Brophy) and Spike (Harold Huber). When Cecil's head is briefly turned by Ike's moll Gloria (Pert Kelton), Molly walks out on him but returns in time to cheer him to victory in the inevitable Big Fight. Despite some formidable comic competition, the film is stolen by the great Charley Chase, in one of his few feature-film appearances. Kelly the Second also features unbilled cameos by such Hal Roach favorites as Max Davidson and Carl "Alfalfa" Switzer (Billy Gilbert, alas, was cut from the final release print); best of all, the musical score includes several familiar "background" themes by the inimitable LeRoy Shield. She won a tony in 1971 for "No, No, Nannette" Her brother gave her the nickname "Patsy." Frank Fay, her boss at one point, developed a crush on her, but she rejected him. Later, when she called him "Frank" instead of Mr. Fay, he fired her. Won Broadway's 1971 Tony Award as Best Supporting or Featured Actress (Musical) for "No, No, Nannette. She was again nominated in the same category in 1973 for "Irene." In 1934, she was the only passenger in an automobile on the Santa Monica pier driven by actor and female impersonator Gene Malin. He accidentally backed the car off the pier and subsequently drowned. Kelly survived. MORE INFO ON HAL ROACH: Hal Roach was born in Elmira, New York in 1892. After working as, among other things, a gold prospector, he wound up in Hollywood and began picking up jobs as an extra in comedies, where he met comedian Harold Lloyd. He began producing, directing and writing a series of short film comedies starring Lloyd around 1915. These were quite successful, and Roach started his own production company and eventually bought his own studio. By the early 1920s he had eclipsed Mack Sennett as the King of Comedy and created many of the most memorable comic series of all time, even by today's standards. These include the team of Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, Charley Chase and The Little Rascals. By the late 1930s Roach's formula for success was jeopardized by audience demands for bigger, feature-length productions, and he was forced to try his hand at making full-length screwball comedies, musicals and dramas, although he still kept turning out two-reel comedies. By the 1950s he was producing mainly for television. In 1983 his company developed the first successful digital colorization process. Roach then became a producer for many TV series on the Disney Channel, and his company still produces most of their films and videos. A conversation with the MannA conversation with the MannAn evocative novel of an aspiring black comics rise to near-fame and fortune during the Rat Pack era, by the author of Everybody Smokes in Hell and Stray Dogs. What do you want?I want the Ed Sullivan Show.At the dawn of the Civil Rights Movement, like a lot of black Americans, comedian Jackie Mann wanted to be somebody. And for him there was only one way to achieve that: to make it big. Make it, no matter the cost: friends, family, ones own self-esteem and self-respect. This is the story of a young mans journey from Harlem to stardom, a story of Hollywood royalty, New York glitterati, Vegas Mafiosi, Northern bigotry, and Southern racism. This is a story of love, honor, betrayal, and redemption; of fame bought and paid for by any means necessary. It is the story of one mans desire and an entire races demands, and the incredible moment when the two came together as one. This is the story of Jackie Mann.$12.99

Stage Door CanteenStage Door CanteenThis star-studded musical drama was largely financed by Theatre Guild, with all proceeds going to various wartime fundraising concerns. Most of the story takes place at the Stage Door Canteen, a Manhattan-based home away from home for soldiers, sailors and marines (the real-life Canteen on 44th street was too busy to lend itself to filming, thus the interiors were recreated in Hollywood). Within the walls of this non-profit establishment, servicemen are entertained by top musical, comedy and dramatic acts, and waited on by such Broadway luminaries as Lunt and Fontanne, Katharine Hepburn, Jane Cowl, Katherine Cornell, Tallulah Bankhead, Helen Hayes, Cornelia Otis Skinner, Sam Jaffe and Paul Muni. Though the plotline-one of the Canteen servers, a girl named Eileen (Cheryl Walker) falls in love with one of the visiting soldiers (William Terry), despite the establishment's strict "no dating" rules-is merely an excuse to link together a series of specialty acts, it is superbly and touchingly directed by Frank Borzage. Not all of the film has weathered the years too well: particularly hard to take is Gracie Fields' cheery ditty about "killing Japs!" For the most part, however, the film works, and the guest performers-including comedians Ray Bolger, Harpo Marx, George Jessel and Ed Wynn, and singers Ethel Waters and Kenny Baker-are in fine fettle. If nothing else, Stage Door Canteen offers the only appearance on film of the great Katherine Cornell, who offers a vignette of the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet. Incidentally, the actor playing "Texas", Michael Harrison, later gained fame as cowboy star Sunset Carson. Originally released at 132 minutes, Stage Door Canteen is now generally available in the 93-minute TV version. The six big bands that appear and perform in the film are those of Kay Kyser, Count Basie, Xavier Cugat, Guy Lombardo, Benny Goodman and Freddie Martin. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi$8.42

JERRY CLOWER'S GREATEST HITSMCA 3162LP IS STILL SEALED IN ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH SMALL PIECE REMOVED FROM FRONT PHOTO COVER FOR AUTOGRAPH BY JERRY CLOWER. CONDITION OF THE AUTOGRAPH IS EXCELLENT. Howard Gerald "Jerry" Clower b. September 28, 1926, Liberty, Mississippi - d. August 24, 1998 was a popular country comedian best known for his stories of the rural South. Clower began a stint in the Navy immediately after graduating high school, then studied agriculture at Mississippi State University, where he played college football and was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. After finishing school, Clower worked as a county agent and later as a seed -sman. He became a fertilizer -sman for Mississippi Chemical in 1954. By this time, he had developed a reputation for telling funny stories to boost his -s. It was while speaking to the Alabama Dairy Convention in Point Clear, Alabama in 1970 that an attendee enthusiastically told Clower he might have a future in comedy. Thinking there might be some potential in that area, Clower taped his next few speaking engagements. "The Coon Hunt" that would launch his career was first taped in Corpus Christi at the Texas Farmer's Cooperative Convention. Eventually, Clower's tapes wound up in the hands of Edwin "Big Ed" Wilkes 1931-1998 and Bud Andrews in Lubbock, Texas, who had him make a better quality recording which they promoted. MCA Records later awarded "The Coon Hunt" a platinum album for -s in excess of $1 million at the retail level.[1] At first, Clower was just taking orders at his speaking engagements. He sold 8000 copies this way on the Lemon record label. In time, Wilkes sent a copy to Grant Turner at WSM radio in Nashville, and when Turner played it on the air, Clower said "that thing busted loose". MCA was soon knocking on Clower's door offering him a contract. Once MCA began distribution in 1971, Jerry Clower from Yazoo City, Mississippi Talkin' retailed more than a million dollars over ten months and stayed in the Top 20 on the country charts for 30 weeks. Clower was 45 when MCA came calling and he began his professional career as a comedian. He often said, "I backed into show business." Many of his comedic stories revolved around the non-fictional Ledbetter family, especially his "best friend" Marcel Ledbetter who currently lives in the area of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. These stories are true but embellished for story telling. Marcel and Jerry were best friends throughout Jerry's life. Those stories are considered to be informal chronicles of early 20th century rural Southern life and according to Clower, were usually based on actual events. Clower made 27 full length recordings in his 27 year career as a professional entertainer not counting "best of" compilations. With one exception, all the recordings were released by MCA. The exception was Ain't God Good which Clower recorded with MCA's blessing at a worship service. Word Records promoted and distributed this title in 1977. Always a staunch Christian, this recording gave Clower an opportunity to present his personal testimony in a comfortable church setting. The title of the recording was taken from a book Clower had written two years earlier see below. In 1973, Clower became a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and remained with that organization until his death. He also co-hosted a radio show called Country Crossroads with Bill Mack and Leroy Van Dyke for a number of years. This show was produced and distributed by the Southern Baptist Convention. Clower's last album was Peaches and Possums, released posthumously in October 1998. He was the author of 4 books. The book Ain't God Good became the basis for an inspirational documentary film of the same title that won an award from the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. Clower died following heart bypass surgery, aged 71. He had been married to Homerline Wells Clower since August 1947. He is also survived by a son, Ray, three daughters, Amy, Sue, and Katy, and seven grandchildren.$99.99

Covers littering and other hazards. Great footage of old classic cars running down the roads. Sound, Color, 9:29 Driving Tips, Series 2 More driving tips from Sid Davis, this time covering such things as littering, traffic signs, going around curves, left turns, and hitchhikers. The section on road signs has a lot of great 50s signs in it. Again, this has lots of big, ugly 50s cars on narrow streets. Sound, Color, 9:30 Last Date (1949) Tells the story of Jeanne, a popular pretty girl until speed and an accident ruin her life. A good scare film. Sound, B&W, 18:08 Live and Let Live (1947) Set in a toy tabletop town, this film uses brightly colored model cars and trucks to demonstrate a range of driving safety scenarios. The number of near-misses and accidents would make for an extremely violent film if real vehicles and people were used, but the models keep the feeling of mayhem at a distance. An unusual example of a rich tradition within the safety film genre: the tabletop model. Sound, B&W, 10:15 The Other Fellow (1937) Comedian Edgar Kennedy teaches a driving safety lesson. Sound, B&W, 8:14 Road Runners (ca. 1952) Outlaw hot rodders become law-abiding gear heads after a community organizes supervised racing clubs and timing associations. Sound, B&W, 12:34 Signal 30 (1959) Legendary "shock" driving safety film featuring numerous scenes of mutilated cars and injured/dead people and a voiceover lacking in compassion. Produced in cooperation with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and shown to millions of young drivers for over 40 years. CONTENT ADVISORY: Many disturbing scenes of violent deaths and accident scenes. 2 Part, Sound, Color, 27:06 Stop Driving Us Crazy (1959) Rusty, a spy from Mars, pays a visit to Earth and discovers how its inhabitants disrespect one another by driving poorly. The film espouses a Christian viewpoint on safety, stating that "reckless driving is a sin." The 1950s-style animation is great. Director: Mel Emde. Writer: William Bernal. Designer: Cliff Roberts. Animators: Ken Mundie, Dick Drew, Sammy Kai. Voices: Howard Morris. Music: Benny Golson with Art Blakey and his Jazz Messengers. Hangover Dvd Bradley Cooper Ed Helms Sondra CurrieHangover Dvd Bradley Cooper Ed Helms Sondra CurrieBy all rights, THE HANGOVER should have been a minor success that did satisfactory box office and lived on through beer-laden guys night viewings. Phillipss OL$15.29

Clower, Jerry LP Signed Autograph From Yazoo City Mississippi Talkin 1971Clower, Jerry LP Signed Autograph From Yazoo City Mississippi Talkin 1971THIS IS AN AUTHENTICALLY AUTOGRAPHED LP BY JERRY CLOWER.. JERRY CLOWER FROM YAZOO CITY-MISSISSIPPI TALKINDECCA STEREO DL 75286RELEASED IN 1971. COVER IS SIGNED BY JERRY CLOWER. CONDITION OF THE VINYL,COVER, AND AUTOGRAPH IS VERY GOOD.

FAQ about Big Ed Comedian

Comedian questions? 3 quick questions about some comedians: 1. I saw a comedian on tv years and years ago (around Titanic time) who, as a part of his act, played a dictaphone with song parts on it and made jokes about how the lyrics sounded different to what they were ("Heart does go on/Hot dogs go on" was the only one I can still remember). Who was it? 2. Can I find a transcript of, is it Ed Byrne?, taking the micky out of Alanis Morrisettes 'Ironic'? 3. A ventriloquist did his first big show at some sort of variety performance and his microphone didn't work, so Bruce Forsyth had to keep the audience laughing till they fixed his mic. Then when he came back on everyone cheered, making it look like he was more popular than he was in the edit. Who was he? I think his puppet might have been a mechanic? Whew! I think question 1- was Peter Kay. Question 2 - I don't know, can you? Question 3 - Don't know, sorry.

Standup comedy is massively anti-religious. Same in the USA? In the Uk and commonwealth it is at least...is it the same in the States? Im just curious as to how it would go down over there...Not just Christianity stuff, just any religious stuff, Ill post a link to Billy Connolly going on about Muslims, would that be ok? Would it be more acceptable than Christianity stuff? I know George Carlin does it, but hes so big that all his audiences will know exactly what they are in for and can stay away if it offends them. but in the UK...literally every comedian seems anti religious. From the massive ones (Izzard and Connolly especially) to the tiny ones...same from the commonwealth, (Minchin and Hills), Irish guys seem against it (O'Briain, Ed Byrne, Moran). Cant think of any that dont use religion as an easy subject for laughs. How would it go down in the states? I know a lot of them change their acts very heavily when touring over there. Billy Connolly and Eddie Izzard both definitely edit a lot of their stuff. Some examples of what I mean, and this is really mainstream comedy over here. http://youtu.be/SMx8QvhULIs

What is a good co-ed online gaming name? My fiancee and I play the ps3 alot. We have decided to create a name for the both of us so we dont have to switch off on a name neither of us like. My name is lilith (which is the devils daughters name) and his is orangecrush (which is for the denver broncos defensive line in the 80s). We are looking for something that is different (other than mr and mrs something). Something that isnt to feminine, or to masculine. And something that is eye catching, or conversation starting. He is a big comedian so something funny could also be good. The games we play are cod, Little big Planet, Virtua tennis, Socom, Virtua fighter, Sega collection, GH, Ridge Racer, Soul Caliber, Madden, GTA. So it cant be something specific to one game as we play a bunch of different genres. Any suggestions will be put into thought. thanks again for your help!!

Where can i buy an adult sized big wheel? Like the one the comedian Gallagher rides out on stage? Here is a picture of it: http://www.lasvegassun.com/from.ed/2005/mar/25/photos/P000069316.jpg Imagine the women you could pick up on that pimpin ride! The closest thing I know of is the Green Machine. A lot of college guys were buying them to race last year. We got our grandson one at Toys-R-Us. You might try their website and see if that's close to what you are looking for.

Serious responses only: Why bigger and better some days as compared to other? First off, this isn't about ED (I'm 21 years old), PE, or increasing the size. I assume most guys know what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sure I've heard a comedian refer to it as a "big d*** day". There are just some days the erection SEEMS bigger, more rigid as compared to others. IT technically may not be, but it does feel taht way. Simply what causes this (cause of course I would like it to happen every time)? My guess has something to do with increased blood flow that day to our area (since blood is what causes it to erect in the first place). Would this have to do with getting better exercise, good diet, and not stressed? Let me know if I'm right, and what I can do to achieve this more often (such as are there specfiic foods in my diet I can incorporate...eg. foods containing more iron than others?). my question about foods more specifically....Are there foods that increase blood flow and/or cause vasodilation? Of course your diet and your general health will make a huge difference to how your body reacts to stimulus.
However, erection problems in a healthy male are caused by two things: stress or circulation. The stress side of things can be nervousness, anxiety, guilt, fear, and so on.
If your problem is circulation, you can do something about that right away without any cost or treatment. Find a place where you can safely walk or run a significant distance (2 - 10 kilometres, more if your stamina is up to it) every day in bare feet. It is amazing the benefits of being barefoot. Reflexology tries to bring the concept into the modern world, but all it really does is emulate the way people were a few generations ago. Bare feet respond to the natural environment and stimulate the heart flow and nervous system in ways that cannot be otherwise achieved.
If you are going to try bare feet, do it for a month or so (remember that you are having to overcome the damage of probably many years of bad foot care by wearing shoes) and just see what the difference is. Every one of my patients who tried this therapy has had remarkable results - not just in sexual matters but in their whole lifestyle.
