I have a specialized sirrus sport bicycle. What basic accessories should I purchase for me and the bike? I know some basics. Kick stand, helmet, water bottle, lights, bike lock; but what I need to know is other items you want to suggest for me. And best choices for the money. And money I should spend on each item taking safety and security into consideration. I ride the canal and bike paths along the roads for exercise and fun. The best helmet and lighting are my biggest concern since I sometimes ride after dusk. And the best place to make my purchases too please. You want to get a under saddle bike bag so you can carry a spare tube, tool kit with tire levers and a patch kit. A air pump that mounts under the water bottle cage. Two water bottles. A cycle computer to keep track of your distance. A heart rate monitor to help you train. You can get a handle bar bag to carry your phone, food, wallet, etc. They attach with velcro straps and are easy to put on and take off. Cycling shorts and jerseys make cycling a lot more comfortable.
You can get the bags, cycle computer, water bottles, tubes, tool kit, frame pump at Walmart. Amazon is great for the rest.

Can anyone help me with the list of accessories supplied along with a SUNCROSS CYCLOSPORT bicycle.? I have just purchased a SUNCROSS CYCLOSPORT Bicycle but the supplier has not given me any accessories like the Alan-Key/Spanner, i have also been charged extra for the plastic mud-guards. So just wish to confirm the accessories And also it would be great if someone helps me in knowing the website of the manufacturer. I'm sorry that you purchased that bike. My guess is, based on the price and quality of the bike that you would only receive the bike and perhaps a set of reflectors. I am almost certain that you would not receive any tools of any sort.

When should a child have their first bicycle and accessories? (I assume at 3 or 4 years old. Is that right?) And would knee pads be advisable. (I know it's not a skateboard).

I have another question about that posted. Please be specific on name brands if you could. For panniers, Ortlieb Back Roller Plus. A little pricey (but price is for box of 2) but much better waterproofing than most and accessories are cheap. The attachment that converts your pannier to a backpack is astonishingly light but makes all the difference to your comfort if you're going to walk around for long with your pannier.

What type of road bicycle and accessories does Britian's conservative leader David Cameron ride? According to the attached article he used to ride a Scott, but it was stolen, returned, then stolen again, so I don't know what he's riding now.

(Mountain bike, racing bike, etc.) Thanks =} One of the best and cheapest bikes to use is a Schwinn Skyliner that is sold by Walmart. It has a good heavy frame. It's not much of a bicycle but it's an excelent base for a motor.

Where can i find and buy bicycle parts and accessories at whole sale prices? i'm planing to open a shop you better have deep pockets because you aren't likely to get parts from Sram or Shimano unless you have a minimum order of $25k to start and they will demand payment before they ship out to you and If you cant buy direct from them your wholesaler will demand that same payment and it better be a credit card or certified funds too. As far as bikes go well you better have even more (double that or more) If you plan on having any kind of supply and I would also check the competition in your area first- you might want to carry things they don't and some like items too OR they will crush you in the long run. Oh yeah, you also better know what you're doing, BMX bike ridding experience alone doesn't cut it.If you have to ask this question, you might want to reconsider doing this....talk directly to the companies of the products you want to carry and they will tell you what requirements you have to meet!

Where can I find cute bicycle accessories? I have a mint green beach cruiser with a tan wicker basket, a silver headlamp, and a caramel-tone leather saddle and handgrips with suede tassles. I would love to find some online stores that have cool bells, valve caps, stickers and the like to dress it up some more, and I'm also looking for photos/communities of other people and their beloved bikes. Anyone got any url's for me? :) you may be able to find some of the parts over ebay, or craigslist.org.

What bicycle accessories do i need for cycling ? ( i use a mountain bike)? I mean ok, lets say we go for a race with a 5 year old Mountain bike, that had a lot of accidents (only small ones), but all the components are Shimano, except the Cycle computer, the front brakes fork (the legs at the front brake), the wheel covers ( because they got worn ) and the back wheel ( worn out ). OK the front wheel is Berretta and maybe the whole frame is not Shimano . When i used to go at the bike shop for some maintenance i asked them for any contests and they told me in a way that my bicycle is actually an old damaged piece of metal . So then, im not going in a race with this bicycle , but i will still practice and practice and the long trips that i make with this mountain bike are on road mostly and, i try to go faster and faster each time, on each track that i make ( i plan different routes) . That's why i would like to improve on my safety in case of an accident ( i faint because of my Anemia for example), and that's why i would like to know, what are the accessories that i need to have for ME and for MY BICYCLE . I could make a back pack, and i have a bottle holder on the frame, so please tell me all you know . I don't know anything about medical conditions but anything you need (or might need) should be kept in a bag (seperate compartment) along with your tools and such. There are bags that are designed to mount on handle bars, and/or behind the seat. I like the handle bar style myself. A cell phone (radio, or other device to call for help) would be good to take too.

Depending how skilled you are at repairs on-the-go, I've heard/read it's good to have some of these...
Emergency tire pump
Inner Tube (and tools to replace it)
Spare wheel spoke
My bike has two water bottle holders, and my personal preference is to have one with plain water and another with iced tea or mild fruit-juice & water mix (NOT Orange Juice - the acid can leave funny tastes in plastic)...but that's me.
