Of the two hammer positions on a Beretta 92F handgun, what is the first position used for? On a Beretta 92F Handgun, there are two cocking positions for the hammer. Where is a place where I can buy a cheap brand new beretta handgun in Orlando? Turning 21 in january and looking to get my first gun...beretta would be nice under $400... Beretta's are not known as cheap. High quality does not come cheap. I got a Px4 storm in "used but unfired" condition for $450. That was a lucky find. My buddy got a... I forgot what exact Beretta it is, it was a compact, it cost him $200 but he bought it used from a buddy who was realy strapped on cash. It's best to check the classifieds. Backpage.com, and other online websites that still allow you to post ads on guns. Your not going to get one new for under $400. $500-$600 probably is a better price range. Technically the one I got was new but that was a special offer.

Taurus makes a clone of the original Beretta pistols. It used to be a Beretta factory many years ago and they had all the tooling. They are now a major manufacturer but their prices are cheaper.

It is all plastic, and has no obvious use. It's serves a couple different purposes, it holds the pistol in position inside the case, but it also keeps the case from getting crushed in the center.
There have been many different and amusing uses suggested for it. I find it's great for small parts, and I keep an extra on my desk for M&M's.

When is the Beretta Px4 subcompact handgun and the Rx4 storm semiauto rifle going to be available? I saw these on the Beretta website, but can't tell if they're for sale anywhere. Another website said that production started on these back in 2004? Both the Px4 pistol and the Cx4 Carbine are available now through any Beretta dealer. I've fondled them both at my Friendly Local Gun Shop in the last three months.

< EDIT > Wow, I apologize, I hadn't even heard of the Rx4 Rifle system, but now (after a quick look at Beretta's website and a call to my dealer, who only closes for Mothers' Day), it's pending with no firm release date that we can find. The Subcompact Px4 should be available now, though, through any Beretta dealer.

I would like to know if the BERETTA TOMCAT 3032 is a good handgun for deep concealed carry? I'm sorry for using the term deep concealed carry. It is a term I have saw used on several websites that sell special shirts and holsters to carry a small gun under your clothing. What I really want to know is if the BERETTA TOMCAT is a decent gun. I'm thinking about buying one for my wife. Sorry to confuse my question. I love the Beretta Model 3032 Tomcat. I owned one of the original aluminum frame jobs and convinced my department to change policy to allow us to carry a .32 acp as the minimum off duty/backup weapon. I did this by comparing the better .32 acp rounds with standard rounds .380s & .38 Specials and arguing that the .32 conceals better. It was a no-brainer and policy was changed.
Later I decided I had to have the stainless Tomcat but when it hit the stores it was something Beretta called a 'wide-frame.' Well, as someone already mentioned, the regular Tomcat is already wide enough so I passed on this model. Then I heard of a Titanium model and actually got to see one, but at $200 over the price of the aluminum model I passed on that one too. One of those rare days when I had money and was browsing at a gun store I noticed a stainless Tomcat and noticed that it was not a wide-frame. The sales person told me that it was the latest stainless Tomcat so I purchased it on the spot. This is my deep-concealment backup usually riding somewhere in my ballistics vest as a last-resort backup. Or during hot weather for off-duty carry it hides in an inside the pants holster under a T-shirt.
I have often recommended the Tomcat as a minimum defensive pistol for those who just want a small gun or women with really small hands. The other advantage to a Tomcat is the tip-up barrel for women who have difficulty racking the slide. The only caveat is ammo choice. In such a small caliber ammo choice is critical for defensive purposes. I usually use Winchester Silvertip which always expand. I also have two boxes of Fiocchi 60 round hollow point ammo, but have been unable to get more as it is ALWAYS on backorder. This is the .32 acp ammo with the best ballistics, at least on paper, that I have been able to research. Gold Dot and others also offer defensive .32 acp ammo. Experiment and use whatever your particular Tomcat likes best. Although I like Federal Hydra Shok the mouth is really wide in the .32 acp and in my Tomcat Hydra Shok ammo tends to keyhole.
Yes, the Tomcat is a good little pistol in the absolutely minimum recommendable defensive caliber. The slightly wider frame, at least for my big hands, makes it easier to hold on to and shoot. Other .32s just don't feel right in my hand as they are too small or too narrow.

Which Handgun is better 9mm Beretta, or a Rugar 9mm??? Rugars are cheaper but does that make them a bad weapon? Going to be buying a handgun but price is a factor. I love Beretta's but i cant really afford it. Are Rugars a good buy? What makes them good or bad? I think you have already choosen for yourself there. If price is a factor as you say, and your seriosly considering the ruger after having held one, then get the ruger.
The ruger p89 and the rest of the ruger 9mm family have had a very good reputation for being reliable and accurate firearms, as well as being one of the most durable guns in existance (albit a bit heavy).
While the berreta may be measuarbly more accurate on a bench, your personal ability to take advantage of that, perticularly in an emergency situation is unlikely. If your using this gun for recreation/self defense, either guns accuracy is going to boil down to your personal ability, having the right ammo, and how often you practice. Your ability to hit a pop can or a man sized target at 10 yards is going to be more a function of those than any real difference in the quality of the firearms. Unless your entering tournement shoots or practicing master marksmanship, the ruger should be fine.
Just a little example as to my own personal confidence in the ruger. If both firearms where dropped down a flight of concrete stairs, and I had only seconds to scramble down them and pick up a gun to save my life, I would pick up the ruger every time. A berreta is built for looks, a ruger's built for punishment. Hold them each in your own hand and you will know what I mean.

opinions on the beretta model 96 handgun? I want to know how good model 96 is if its a good buy. I'm looking into buying a handgun and need some opinions on 40 or 45 cal semi autos. Shot all kinds just never had one any advice on a good target and defense gun. Save your money and get a Glock, or even better, a H-K USP, and get a .45ACP instead of a .40S&W(Short& Weak). The .45 is superior, performance wise, and you can still find practice ammo for the .45's cheaper than the underpowered .40's.
Just stock up now, especially on hi-cap magazines, before the 'Emperor' and his Libertard minions can implement any of their new gun-thieveing legislation they already have on the agenda in Congress.
