Need a barrel mounted flashlight holder for a hi point 995 carbine? Like it says. I have the ATI stock on it so the barrel has a large part of it exposed. Also would it possible to put a rail system on the barrel? ati also makes picatinny rails that will mount to the side of your forearm for lights, lasers, etc.

should i mount a light on my pistol? I am thinking of mounting a under barrel light on my Glock 23. I have seen them and like the look and feel. but through talk at the gun store some guys say they prefer to just hold a flashlight to the side so if somebody aims at the light it wont be directly at your body. any thoughts? The caveat is that unless you have several members acting together as a cohesive unit, placing your tac light on your pistol is an invitation to a shrewd (and equally well-armed) adversary to wait for the right moment to, 'take you out'.
When working alone at night, one of the last things I'd want the other guy to realize is exactly where I've got my pistol pointed. If you're part of a group, no problem; but if you're solo, big problem. SKS Barrel Clamp Tri Rail tactical mount? This is a tactical rail mount that fits in between the gas tube and the barrel google for pics ok im looking for opinions from people who have one of these or have seen it work i have a norinco sks and id like to get this rail for it for a flashlight/laser but the barrel and gas tube look too close together for this to fit in between i see pictures of this on another sks on a website so im wondering if some modification will be needed opinions please also dont leave a comment griping me out for changing the stock no one cares what you think Personally, I'd never clamp anything on to the barrel, it would change point of bullet impact.
Barrels vibrate when you fire, clamping anything on to the barrel will change the harmonics of the barrel vibration, and i don't know if you'd be able to regulate the sights to the new pattern, I'm not even sure if the harmonics would even be consistent after clamping on additional hardware.

does anyone have a good suggestion for a flashlight for my shotgun? I want to get a good flashlight for my shotgun, that would be blinding for anyone on the other side of it. One that would mount on the bottom barrel of my shotgun or whatever. I want to pay as little as possible of course but I will pay what I need to for a quality light that will last. (No more than $100) Thank you Once you flick that light on you give up the home-court advantage.....

I'm wanting to mount a flashlight to the barrel of my Mossberg 500 shotgun? Hello there. I'm looking for a good barrel mounted system for my Mossberg 500 shotgun. I'm new to the "tactical mounting" thing, so i was wondering what were some good barrel mounts to hold a flashlight. Like if there are any kits with the mount (rather it's picatinny or not) and a flashlight, or a barrel mounted flashlight holder that can hold a variety of different flashlights. Thank you very much in advance :) @ Max I'm from the states, i can buy one. I just don't know where or what kind i should get. You can buy a mini tri-rail that fit on the mag extension - there's some guy on YouTube posted what he did, but I forgot the title of his post.
Any ways, fixing the flashlight on the barrel or extension may not be want you want because you either have to turn the light on and leave it on as you make the approach to the combat zone or you have to take your pump hand off the forearm grip and turn it on during the confrontation - not a good idea.
Lots of people including me prefer the light on the pump grip so you can access the control and not take you hand out of position. The only possible downside to this is that the light gets a double whammy from the recoil and when you pump the action, which could cause accelerated wear on the flashlight. I have a Surefire LED flashlight which is still working after nearly 2 years, so maybe it's not really that big a deal.

Weaver style scope rings for use on a ruger p345? I want to buy a tactical flashlight to mount under the barrel of my p345.,...lights are exspensive...why couldnt you take a weaver rifle scope ring and add put A flash light in it and mount it under the handgun ? There are mounts designed specifically for you pistol.

can I mount a tatical flashlight to my handgun w/ no rail? I just bought a Ruger P95DC 9MM and love it. I want to mount a flashlight and/or laser to it..the only problem is that the gun has no pic rail. I dont want a trigger guard laser. I would like one that mounts on the under-side of the barrel.. If anyone can help me out, I would be much appreciative, any links would help to...... Crimson trace makes a replacement grip with built in laser for your gun.

Look into the Surefire lights, most all of their tactical lights will fit a standard scope ring.
