What old movie is this? -- involves woman with 6 arms and her cyclops husband? And that's about all I can remember about the movie. The main character slept with the woman for whatever reason, and she was married to a cyclops. Anyone? could be the oddesy. weird crap like that happens in that movie.

In the movie Ulysses(1954) about half-way through after they get away from the cyclops they all start putting? wax in their ears. Why is that? What are they trying to get away from or not hear? what is happening I missed like a minute of the movie. They are approaching the Island of the Sirens, where the sweet songs of these lovely girls lure unwary sailors onto the rocks and a watery death. The sailors use wax so that they won't hear the Sirens' song, but Ulysses / Odysseus has himself tied to the mast, and goes nearly mad.

In English class we just read the book The Odyssey and I really didn't understand It at all and I need help.? What do you think of the fact that the enemies are exactly the same in all the GoW games? Undead soldiers, minotaurs, gorgons, cyclops, syrens, wraiths, cerberus, dogs, satyrs and harpies. In each game they adds one or two new enemies just to say that there are new ones, but that's about it. They also usually adds some "new enemies" which are actually a copy of the same old enemies with just a different appearance. @ The Shadow Yeah, but i'm sure that the Greek Mythology has much more creatures than just those. @ R3DSKORP1ON Ж I'm sure that the DMC games doesn't repeat the exact same enemies. you should think back to every sequel you've ever played. all games reuse the same enemies, and add a couple new ones for new variety. God of War is hardly the only culprit. this is an issue with all sequels, so dont pick out God of War.

In the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, did they butcher Cyclops again like they did in X2 & X3? I've not seen it yet and I know it is supposed to show a young Cyclops, but I almost don't want to go because all of these X Men Movies are about Wolverine. I'm a Cyclops fan, so that is why I ask. Also was the movie any good, I've heard very mixed reviews? Kinda sorta, but not in as big a way as the X-Men movies.
Yeah, but that god awful Wolverine movie version DID change A LOT of stuff around. The characters, storylines and other things they pretty much wiped their azzes with it, and basically just threw whatever they thought would look "kewl."


This movie basically just goes to prove that the movie studios rushed to throw together any piece of shite movie based on a VERY popular character JUST to make a lot of $$$$.

There was NO thought put into developing the story, no thought put into the characters, they changed Wolvie's and the other characters all the heck around, and it was just horrible all around.


The sad part is that some people actually LIKED this god awful piece of cinematic fecal matter. And these people who defend this crappy movie keep saying how harsh the critics are being.


Well, yeah, because its a crappy movie!


The real fans - (remember them, the people who MADE these characters so popular in the first place that the movie studios can make crappy movies on) the real fans basically got gyped.


Wolvie and the other characters were basically all bound, gagged and azz raped by the movie studios. Just like Indiana Jones was azz raped in Crystal Skull.


And I thought no movie could suck as badly as X-Men 3, Spiedy 3, those god awful Fantastic Four movies, Catwoman and Elektra, and Speed Racer. I was wrong.

in greek mythology, are all the gods humanoid? are creatures like half horse/half man,cyclops,not gods? like the gods and goddesses can take human form, cause all the greek statues of Hercules, Zues, Aphrodite, etc. are human. but what about creatures thats not human, are they considered gods? isnt there a creature with the body of a horse and the torso of a man? is that a god? is medusa a goddess? Gods can take any form of their choosing, which quite often is human (the god Pan, the god of nature, however, has the bottom half of a goat and has horns. He is not considered a major god though (of the big 14, I mean). The non-human creatures, such as centaurs (half men, half horses) and satyrs (half men, half goats) are not gods, and certainly Medusa is not. She is a monster, slain by Perseus.
