What's the difference between an international driver's license and an international driving permit? I'm an American, living in the US. I'm soon going to move to Japan. The company I got hired for requires me to have an international driver's license. However, when I look for agencies that will issue this document, they all seem a little suspicious, and not completely legit (in addition to the fact that there doesn't seem to be a single standard license, but each company having it's own version of the license.) The only place I've found that I know is a legitimate, trustworthy company is AAA. However, they issue international driving permits (not licenses.) I was wondering if there was really any difference between the two. If possible, I would like to get a permit from AAA, but I'm a little wary about doing this, because I don't know about the differences. Even when I wiki "international driver's license," it automatically takes me to "international driving permit." Is there anyone who can tell me if there is (or is not) a difference between the two? If there is, does anyone know a respectable company that will issue an international driver's license? Thanks. Same as there is no US drivers licence. Each state requires you to have a license in their state. Maybe some of the sites below may help.

Currently, Hernandez is still in AAA (while wrestling occasionally in TNA at the same time) and is aligned with Konnan. Konnan is the "big boss" of a large stable in AAA. Hernandez is working an angle where he hates being Mexican and he came to AAA to get rid of the Mexicans in that promotion. Yeah, Hernandez is a heel in AAA.
Oddly enough, Hermandad 187 did a face turn a few weeks ago and are AGAINST Konnan (and Hernandez) now.
AAA makes a few references about TNA now and then. TNA should do the same about AAA. Though that WOULD cause some confusion given Hernandez's current role in AAA.
How about option 4, with a little twist?
Homicide realizes he's getting nowhere as a singles, and that his best time was with Konnan and Hernandez and the heel group LAX. So he travels to AAA to confront Hernandez about his "hatred of Mexicans" and eventually gets Hernandez's "head on straight" and they decide to reform LAX. They go talk to Konnan about going back to TNA as LAX to represent Latinos everywhere. Konnan gives them his blessing. Before they leave, though, Hernandez wants to settle unfinished business with Hermandad 187. He attacks them but 187 end up getting the better of him...until Homicide makes the dramatic save and they leave 187 broken and bloodied. The fans boo them out of the building.
Hernandez returns to TNA and makes a speech about missing Homicide or something, to set the stage, THEN introduces Homicide and says "LAX is BACK!" While the fans are going nuts for this, and LAX is soaking up the cheers, Hermandad 187 sneak into the ring and jump them, and leave THEM broken and bloodied.
The feud is on...
Tazz and Tenay can give the back-story on the beginning of the feud and TNA can show some clips from AAA (AAA shows clips from TNA at times, when needed) to get everybody up to speed. The fans can decide who is "right" in this feud. Meantime, we get some awesome semi-hardcore and full-on hardcore wars from these two great teams.

The WWE could have a new Luchador in the roster, what do you think? Obviously I don't know how true this is due to the fact that it came from Wikipedia, but it sounds cool and promising. BQ: Would you like to see another Luchador enter the WWE main roster? I have read about this guy on sources other than Wikipedia and I think they're prepping him to be the next big Mexican star. Mysterio only has so long before his knees totally give out. Pro wrestling is absolutely huge in Mexico, some going so far as to call it a "religion" there, so it's totally smart to be grooming another Luchador to step up.
BQ: When Rey starts getting ready to retire, then I'd like to see this new guy get a major push (should he be deemed worthy of it on more than just heritage, but skills.)

Which titles should count when numbering "World Championships"? We all know that Ric Flair is the 16 time heavyweight champion of the world. He won the NWA/WCW World Heavyweight Title 14 times and the WWF Title 2 times. Take the case of Jerry Lawler. He was a 1 time AWA World Heavyweight champion and a 2 time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion. Do both titles count as legitimate? Terry Funk was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion in 1975. Then he was the ECW World Heavyweight Champion in 1997. Is he a two-time world champion, or a one time? The Ultimate Warrior was WWF Champion in 1990. He recently won the NWE World Heavyweight Title (an Italian wrestling company) in Barcelona, Spain. Does that make him a 2-time champion? I'm not saying that only one belt should count at a time. What I am asking is, do we count all of these belts? The current Heavyweight & WWE belts I think have been watered down, having 2 in the same company. It meant more for Flair or Hogan to have tons of reigns between companies. It's not such an achievement when Cena or Edge go between Raw & Smackdown!, but its still same writers, same company, same politics.

Look at Modern Warfare 2's rip-off map packs. £10.99 each and there's 2 of them, so that's £22. Let's say that 5 million users from the PS3 purchases both map packs, they've made over £100,000,000 for 6 crap maps and another 4 from a previous game. And this isn't counting the 360...
It's not the first time that the developers have ripped off their customers. I don't know which game, but there was a game where the items were already in the game, but in order to unlock them, you had to download the DLC. Basically scamming considering how the content was already on the disc.

Their salaries have 2-digit difference. That's too much. I'm not asking only about him if there are other minor leaguers like him. Or is it rare to see a minor leaguer with $4M salary? @Darcman Thank you for your answer. New York Post chose him in 2009 as the worst athlete in NY in the last decade. It's rare but Igawa signed a 5 year 20 million dollar contract for 2007-2011, which is *guaranteed money* regardless if he's in MLB or not, without even playing in America. Since he was considered a rookie by MLB rules, he had options, and when the yankees determined he wasn't good enough to be in the big leagues as far back in 2007, he was optioned to A Ball to work on mechanics at a time before moving back to AAA, got on the yankees for about a month, then optioned back down to AAA before ending the year as a september callup.
He didn't make the MLB team in 2008 until half way thru and had to be put on waivers later in the year to be sent down (which means any of the 29 other teams could claim him) but cleared waivers and was taken off the 40-man roster (so he can't even get called up unless they place him on that roster).
My guess is none of the teams wanted to pick up his contract when he obviously wasn't good enough to pitch in the majors. But his contract was guaranteed so the yanks have to pay him 4 mil this year and even more money next year. NY was banking on him being a cheaper version of matsuzaka but didn't pitch up to standards.
in 2009 Igawa was 10-8 with a 4.15 ERA in AAA. Decent, but not outstanding. Its guaranteed money, doesn't matter if his salary is 20x more than other players.

Thanks, Alberich All the bond rating agencies not just the S&P did not do their job, which was to give and accurate assessment of the risks of securities, but the Banks that created and sold these risky securities as safe also knew they were risky. I tend to put more blame on the banks and think the rating agencies were only facilitators, however if you start with the assumption that banks will do what ever they can get away with, then the rating agencies are the next most responsible. Some people believe that the financial systems become corrupt if not regulated and so put the blame on the government for weakening regulations. Other blame the fed and greenspan for the policies that facilitated the housing bubble and creating a trap that the banks fell into.
